This came highly recommended to me in regard to Turkish food and it did not disappoint!
We stopped by and for an online order after a day at Universal (which is a literally 7 minute drive away), and they were very on time with the order and the workers were super friendly.
We got the hummus appetizer of course, which was refreshing and delicious with fresh-baked naan pieces. There were so many yummy-sounding entrees that it was difficult to choose.
A kebap was what we went with and it was so delicious, with strong tomato flavor and perfectly cooked meat. Inside the restaurant was also super cute and fun so I’ll definitely be back to dine in. If you enjoy Turkish & Mediterranean food keep Bosphorous on your list!

Bosphorous was recommended to us by one of the hotel staff at the resort we are staying. Since we enjoy trying new places and new dining experiences, we made our reservation. From the moment we arrived until we finished our evening, the staff at Bosphorous were very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Every dish that we ordered was incredible. Carefully and perfectly prepared and served with just as much care and attention. Salvador was our waiter and he could not have been more helpful, more courteous or more attentive. 5 stars across the board. If you are in Orlando and want to try something a little different than your normal restaurant, I highly recommend Bosphorous.

The restaurant had a beautiful decor and served good food. However, I had a rough start when I tried to open the menu. I pushed my finger through the crease, expecting to find a crease, but instead, I was met with an open staple about a centimeter into my finger. Not a great beginning.
Despite the unpleasant experience, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu offered a wide variety of options. I decided to try the babaganoosh, which was served with hot pita bread. It was delicious and flavorful.
I also ordered the shrimp casserole, which was served hot, decadent, and expertly crafted. It was a bit salty for my taste, but it was still enjoyable. The rice was buttery and masterfully cooked.
My wife ordered the sea bass filet with salad. Unfortunately, the lettuce was dry, old, and wilted, and the sea bass was small, thin, overcooked, and had so much salt in it that it was not edible.
The server brought the manager over, and they quickly changed and delivered an order of the lamb shank. This was probably the best lamb shank we’ve ever had, but it was still way too salty.
The server was friendly, but they were also quite loud. When we had to ask for more water after 20 minutes of empty glasses, the server walked over to the bar, quickly left, and didn’t deliver water for another 20 minutes after I got up and asked the hostess.
Overall, the restaurant was good, but it was disappointing due to the unpleasant start and the poor service.

From start to finish it was a wonderful experience! The lavash and pick-two dips were delicious, especially the Ezme. I highly recommend the mixed grill for two entree, it’s a great choice to taste everything. For dessert, the pistachio baklava and chocolate mousse must both be ordered to enjoy at the same time! The best hot appetizer was the fried zucchini patties. Atmosphere and service were excellent, shoutout Olga for being very helpful when it came to recommendations!

Phenomenal Turkish cuisine with a smart atmosphere and superb service. Our server was Olga and she was phenomenal. We started with apricot juice and a blueberry mojito mocktail, both drinks tasting fresh and light. Our meal began with our favorite Turkish appetizer: sigara boregi (cheese cigars). For the entree, we thoroughly enjoyed the Mixed Grill (plenty for two people) which had the best rice I’ve ever had. The chicken sis kebab was the best! We finished with the kunefe for dessert, which was made fresh at the time of our order. The kunefe was heavy on the fillo dough and light on the cheese – not my favorite version – but still tasty with a nice crunch. We will return next time we are in the area for more delightful Turkish cuisine!

We had a wonderful experience eating at Bosphorous. The Turkish cuisine was so authentic that I felt that it was tastier than actually eating in Turkey. Our server Olga, was very thorough in explaining the menu and helpful in our choices. I started with the Mule cocktail recommended by Olga. I also ordered the grilled Sea Bass and my husband, the Shrimp Sauté, both so tasty! We also ordered the Lavas bread. It was doughy, puffy and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered through Uber Eats and was really disappointed. The flavors were just okay, nothing special. The packaging was terrible and definitely not made for delivery over any distance. By the time it arrived, the food was pretty cold.
I got the mixed grill, and honestly, it wasn’t worth the high price. To make things worse, there were no utensils in the bag. You can see from the photo; it didn’t look great either.
Overall, a poor experience. Wouldn’t order again.

Excellent! My very first visit to Bosphorous and I fell in love! The food is delicious, well cooked, super tasty and the portions are just right. We were served by Youseph, and he made our experience even better. He provided suggestions and shared knowledge on the food, traditions and Turkish coffee. The dessert menu is so good! Definitely don’t skip dessert if you can. This location is in The Marketplace in Dr. Phillips. There is plenty of parking, but make sure the GPS takes you to the front of the store, as mine took me to the back of the building. I will definitely return, for the food, the service, the coffee, and hopefully I get to try the Espresso Martini – which I heard is one of the best in town! Thank you Youseph!
