Luna Grill in Rancho Santa Margarita was a noticeably better experience than our recent visit to the Spectrum location.
The dining area was clean, bright, and welcoming, and the team seemed more experienced and confident. Our server was professional, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly.
The food quality was also improved, fresh, well-prepared, and overall, much more enjoyable. The only downside for us was salt level: the gyro and fries were still on the salty side. They don’t really offer “light/no salt” as a standard option, so next time we’ll ask for no-salt fries (if available). however, the chicken kabob was not salty at all and very well prepared.
Overall, this RSM location felt like a big step up, and we would return. We also plan to revisit the Spectrum location later to see if consistency and quality have improved there as well.

This place is quite good, consistent and reliable. The meat is good quality and everything is fresh. I really like the chicken kabob and the rice is always perfect. If we are starving and there’s no dinner we usually go here! A healthy local option.

It’s more or less a fast food Mediterranean style place. If you’re looking for something quick, it’s the place to go to.
Service was great! Only reason why I give less stars is because I found walnuts in my Modern Greek salad. Lucky I’m not allergic to nuts. So for those who are, just be careful because of cross contamination. They probably used the same bowl to make it for their apple walnut salad.
The shrimp kabob was delicious. Overall, a great place for fast dining, healthy and good for kids (who have no nut allergies)

Downgrading from 5 to 4 stars because I went back to Luna Grill RSM today and it was freezing inside. We asked the employee to make it warmer and he said he was not allowed to and was cold himself. Ridiculous. They also stopped serving wine but still serve beer…??? Why?
The RSM location has nice indoor and outdoor seating, great service and food. The Santorini Bowl is my fave and their Lunatic Sampler plate is great as a meal or to share! Just tried the Mediterranean Salad with chicken and pearl couscous and it was delicious! My friend loved the Seasonal Peach Burrata salad with her chicken Kebab also.

Have been a customer at this Luna location since it opened and have seen some changes over the years. I think the current team is really great, especially Walter. The place is clean and I like the addition of the faux flowers sprinkled around the restaurant. The food remains delicious although I do miss the grilled carrots from awhile back.

My family and I eat here on average once a week and sometimes we get take out on a busy night. I can’t say enough about the customer service. My mother was recently here with my daughter and there was a small order mix up. Anthony took care of the issue. She was so pleased she asked me to post a review. Luna grill is my daughter’s favorite restaurant(kids chicken and French fries and lots of extra dressing). Thanks for the quality food as always and the wonderful service.

If you’re looking for a healthy fast food place for a reasonable price this is the place for you. They’re very consistent with their services and offer a kind welcoming to incoming customers. One employee that’s stands out to me on my visits to Luna Grill is Will. Will provides a great assistance to those that are new to Luna Grill and to consistent goers like me.
