My third visit to a Firehouse Subs, and the first visit that I have deviated from the Hook & Ladder. Today I tried the Hero. It was very, very tasty. I enjoyed every morsel, to include that awesome pickle spear they kick in. But…it was not as good as my Hook & Ladder.
The shop was decorated the same as the other shops that I’ve visited, and the service was friendly and fast.

Ordered 3-7-26 online. Got there wasn’t busy. Waited on 3 subs. Got home and two of the 3 was incorrect. Called very rude manager. This is the 2nd time. Won’t be a 3rd. I just went to Jersey Mike’s and got way bigger subs with lower price. Corporate was emailed and a refund is being given. Sub on left $9.75 sub on right $12.59 ridiculous!!

Everything was fresh, the order was accurate, the young lady was very helpful in checking me out with an unusual coupon. But I didn’t think the sandwich was as good as others. The oil and vinegar didn’t seem to add much flavor.

4 times… FOUR has our order been wrong. How is this even possible, upcharges on bacon but never adds bacon to the sandwiches. Just waited 35 minutes in the parking lot for an order that was wrong. Mind you there was two other customers in the store that were in an out it’s not like it was rush hour by any means. Also how on earth do you forget to put every topping on the italian sandwich? Meat and bread is all I got with ahahahhaa BACON how ironic didn’t even order it and got bacon on the sandwich. And it’s not even having to wait for food, just to clear the air that’s completely understandable. It’s the fact you have to wait for food that’s is not even what you ordered and have to wait again to have it remade and the workers have an attitude that they have to fix their mistake. Every time we call it’s some younger female worker with the absolute worst attitude like we are bothering them ahahaha. We understand simple mistakes can be made, everyone makes them but this is a consistent pattern at this particular location just wanting to vent our frustrations.

Sad little sandwich. Check out the stock photos of the New York Steamer. I was hopeful but sadly disappointed. At 13 bucks for a bag of chips and a 7 inch sub. The bread was fresh but the meat should have been hotter. I really wanted a sub with substance ♂️. I would have paid more for the extra meat had I known. The workers were very nice though

Our cashier was very sweet, even stopped by our table to ask if our meal was good and to remove our baskets. One other person behind the counter was friendly, too. Having said that, I have to express my disappointment with this restaurant. We entered through greasy glass doors to be met by an angry scowl from the employee nearest the door, in response to my smile. We looked at the menu board for a long moment during which no one acknowledged our presence (we were the only customers at the counter). Jokingly, I said “Hi, welcome to Firehouse Subs! What can I get for you?” No one even looked up!
My sandwich was superb, as always, but my husband’s had nothing but bread along a quarter of its length. Memo to management: First impressions count!

Popular sub shop in Fort Oglethorpe. I meet people there for lunch often. The food is fresh and healthy and the prep area is very clean. The staff is friendly and interactive with the customers. Atmosphere is good for a sub shop with plenty of seating.
