The lemon spaghetti was excellent and the focaccia bread starter was tasty and a generous portion – coupled with lemon-mascarpone butter, basil pesto, and olive oil.
Service was outstanding throughout. Nice wine selection. And the show-stopper actually was the outstanding tiramisu. Used to average tiramisu, this blew us all away.
The menu features fresh ingredients with an Italian flair. The lemon spaghetti is a standout, perfectly balanced with zesty citrus and delicate pasta. The focaccia is warm and fragrant, and the small plates are ideal for sharing.
Cocktails are beautifully crafted, and the wine list is thoughtfully curated. Service was prompt and attentive, enhancing an already enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, Luna by Giada offers a refined Italian meal in the heart of Scottsdale—perfect for a special occasion or a relaxed evening out.
From the start the hostess was kind and informative seating is and explaining the restaurant. Our server was personable and very attentive. He knew the menu and it showed.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the food, especially with the pasta because I can be a bit of a snob. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The arancini were fantastic. The pizza, while it did not live up to the pizza I had in Naples, is probably the closest to it in the whole of phoenix. The lemon spaghetti really is fantastic.
The pasta was good but it was a touch overcooked. Because I had a view of the kitchen I could see that sometimes the plates were sitting at the pass for several minutes. This is a pasta killer. Get it out. It will be overcooked and thicken as it sits. Even the chicken piccata was great.
The prices seem high but actually you get a ton of food, like the corn with sausage. It’s 14 dollars or something but they send out enough for like four people. And pasta portions are like main course portions. That taken into consideration and I think the price is fair.
Really this is a four star review but the fact that the restaurant was staff was so amazing I have to give it a five star review
I enjoyed it so much I even got a cookbook as a souvenir.
I ordered two pizzas: the Spicy Sausage and the Margherita. Both were superbly made and delicious. The Spicy Sausage wasn’t all that spicy, but I like hot foods and that certainly did not detract from my enjoyment of the pizza. The proportions of sausage to cheese to peppers were ideal for the Neapolitan crust.
Also, the staff at the bar were very helpful and attentive.
There are other menu options that I want to try, so I plan to return as soon as my schedule allows. Keep up the great work!
Our group of 6 decided to order food family style so that we could all taste multiple dishes. This did not disappoint and Cherise even quoted Chef Giada “I like to eat a little of everything, but not a lot of everything”. We got to experience this and loved this philosophy.
