Since I don’t cook and I love seafood, this Cameron’s Seafood sees me every weekend. Generally, I have them cook me a half salmon fillet, 2 orders of sweet potato fries, as well as a large Cream of Crab and/or Lobster Bisque soup. Once that is taken care of, I also order a Broiled Tuna Dinner and Swordfish Dinner, if they have any available. If not, I get a Crab Cake Dinner. I have been coming here for many years and their food is always fresh and cooked to specifications. The owner and his staff are superb, and I would recommend this 16th Street Cameron’s to anyone who enjoys seafood.
The only problem is that I do not drive and am a senior citizen, which means I have to call for a taxi driver to take me there and back home, or take the #18 Ride-On Bus, which means a long wait.

The jumbo fried shrimp was okay. Not sure because of the grub hub delivery which took about 2 hours… My food was cold. Batter on shrimp was soggy and so was the fries. I heard/read good reviews so maybe it was grub hub fault the food was cold?

Fish tasted like ammonia and crab cakes were mush. The food gave both me and my girl friend food poisoning. Owner would not give us our money back unless we brought our food in. I don’t know how I was suppose to bring food back in once I have eaten it. Would recommend staying away from place at all cost.

They sell a good variety of fresh fish and shellfish which they are willing to cook for you or sell it raw. Attention!!! Cameron’s is no longer at this location (16th Street). It has been demolished. I also checked at 8600 Georgia Avenue and they are not there either. Too bad. I liked supporting them but their other franchises are too far away

Never had a problem with them until last night. I bought a dozen crabs, got home and couldn’t enjoy them because they were OVERCOOKED! I called today , the guy is telling me repeatedly I need to bring the crabs back when I told him, they were trashed. I didn’t plan on bringing them back, I was just gonna forget about it and I forgot to add all of them werent the size I paid for! So he refused me the new crabs. No, I didn’t or couldn’t bring back the crabs but it’s not that serious! I’m a paying customer and those crabs we’re disgusting and OVERCOOKED, they had to have known. Smh

Out of all the Cameron’s locations, this one is the best. They have the best crabs here. They accept discounts and coupons without a problem too. If you like their Facebook page, they post deals once in a while.

They lie to customers to get you to buy crabs.. I called for prices and was given a price 40.00 for a half bushel of male and female crabs live so I went to buy the crabs and notice all female was on top… so I ask again to the man this is male and female crabs right he said yes… I got home the crabs was all small female about 4-inch which is not the legal limit is 5-inch or more So I called on the phone and the man then said we only have half bushel for 40.00 females explain I paid for male and female he said I don’t no what to tell you…. I said fine never again…
