First time in, ordered the Awase tibs, and Dulet for our main course it was so incredibly good. Dulet is spicey and paired so well with the greens. My partner had the awase tibs and thoroughly enjoyed them. As well as the sambusa as the app which were perfectly crunchy and spiced. Food is well worth the price and the staff was kind, and courteous. Will be back to try more off the menu.

I ate here yesterday and it was so good. It was only my second time having Ethiopian food, but I am obsessed with the injera bread. It’s so fluffy and light and and complemented the dish that I got so well. They also have items for sale that you can purchase if you want to make some dishes at home. I love that the menu is all plant based. I went with my boyfriend who is not Vegan and he got the spaghetti and really liked it. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant is all vegan. And the food is very good. I tried Sambusa appetizer which is good, next Awaze tibs which I normally don’t see in another Ethiopian restaurant, i took the risk to try it and its ok for my tastebuds. I tried the baklava here as its rare to find a vegan baklava. They are all good

Lulu’s was amazing, and really appreciate it’s all VEGAN.

Owner’s son greeted me & took my order; helped me narrow down my options, as there really is so much to choose from, even helped me figure out how to order smaller version of certain menu items, so I could try more dishes.

Lulu herself brought out my main dish, and she was so sweet & kind.

Everything came out fast, yet everything was super fresh, super hot & full of flavor.

Super impressed! It was my first time, but I will definitely be back. Thank you, Lulu & fam!

Wanted to support local restaurants that are suffering and decided to try Lulu as we like Ethiopian food. It was great! Server was lovely. Food delicious. My spice tea was excellent and the sambusas were really good with an excellent dipping sauce. We had a medium sampler plate with a beet dish, a carrot and green bean dish, a yellow lentil dish and a potato dish with spices. All served on injera with extra injera provided. I finished the meal with baklava, which was different than Greek baklava, but very yummy. All in all, a wonderful meal.

I stumbled into Lulu Ethiopian by pure serendipity after the MCAD art sale, and it felt like the universe nudged me exactly where I needed to be. The moment I saw the sign, I felt that quiet little yes.

Tigi, the owner, is an absolute gem. Kind, creative, playful, and deeply welcoming; she made me feel instantly at home in her space.
The restaurant itself is so cute, well-designed and homey. It’s bright, clean, sunny, and full of warmth. It doesn’t just feel like a place to eat; it feels like a place that’s been lovingly tended.

The food was phenomenal!!! Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Every bite felt clean, nourishing, and deeply flavorful in that soulful Ethiopian way that lingers with you. You can taste the care and intention in it.

This spot is a gift. Come hungry, come curious, and leave genuinely delighted. I can’t wait to return.

Absolutely delicious meal. We did the 6-dish vegetarian sampler and it was a delightful and very tasty selection of our favorites. Will definitely go back – a real gem.

Absolutely delicious food, cozy atmosphere, great service, reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant to vegans and non-vegans alike. The food is hearty and scrumptious, and the staff was very inviting and attentive. They had a great selection, including drinks, appetizers, main meals, and desserts. They even sell a few products, I picked up a spice blend that looks amazing.
