From the moment I walked in, the vibes pulled me in. The mix of easygoing music, a cozy atmosphere, and the kind young ladies working behind the counter made the space feel instantly welcoming. Even though the restaurant is small, it has a warm, home-like feeling—clean, quiet, and comfortable. If I lived in Boston, this would absolutely be one of my regular spots.
I ordered the seafood roll flight, which came with a drink and chips, and I couldn’t resist adding the lobster bisque. Everything was outstanding. The chilled seafood paired with the warm, buttery roll was a perfect balance—simple, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite felt like something I wanted to experience all over again. The bisque was rich, comforting, and full of that fresh lobster flavor you can’t fake.
Luke’s Lobster exceeded every expectation I had. For anyone visiting Boston—or lucky enough to live there—it’s a spot I’d highly recommend. Fresh, delicious, and full of great energy.

Luke’s Lobster did not disappoint! The Hot Lobster Roll was absolutely perfect—packed with fresh, sweet lobster meat and served just the way you’d hope for. The roll itself was warm, buttery, and fresh, making each bite feel indulgent but balanced. The bread was outstanding, soft with just the right amount of crispness on the edges. Pairing it with their soup was the best choice—rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want on the side.
On top of the great food, the service was warm and friendly, adding to the whole experience. Everything felt fresh, thoughtful, and true to what you’d hope for in a classic lobster roll spot.
The crab roll we ordered was vey good — fresh, tasty, and priced pretty reasonably for downtown Boston. The food came out fast (under 10 minutes), which was impressive considering how busy it gets. The service was friendly, fast, and professional, making the visit relaxed and pleasant.
Luke’s is located on Washington Street in the heart of downtown, so it’s perfect for grabbing a bite while you’re walking around the city or shopping. The interior is cozy and a bit tight, so many diners opt to take their orders and eat while walking or standing.
If you’re in downtown Boston and craving a solid seafood roll without the fuss, Luke’s is a solid pick.
I got the small portion since this was my 1st time trying it and honestly was glad I did but it wasn’t the most flavorful. The service however was lovely and the ladies at the front were so helpful. The location was tiny but was luckily able to grab a seat in a corner immediately after someone got up so I’d honestly prepared to grab your food and eat elsewhere .
