Good pizza and excellent Italian dishes. Good prices on specials during the week. Has both gluten free pizza and gluten free pasta that actually tastes great. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking out front or plenty of parking in the back.

The vodka penne was okay, no taste at all. Will not be ordering that dish again. Oh, my friend ordered this dish for me. Once the grub hub guy came to my door he told me that I had to pay.. the whole time he got a payment already from my friend. (Be careful of them delivery drivers)! Steups. Ordered ONE sandwich, a slice of pizza and a fountain drink. Waited over a half an hour for the sandwich, which I needed to take to go. When I entered the restaurant there were only two tables filled…
Couple other details:
1. Peppers and Onions on menu says $1 but they charge $2
2. On the way out, I saw their “Happy Hour special” of 2 slices and fountain drink for $6.99 but I got 1 slice and a fountain drink for the same price.
Food is average, pizza is better than the food but not worth the hassle dining in. Just order Za to-go

I just have to tell you how great the food is at Luigi’s. We had the eggplant parm and chicken parm specials cooked to perfection. take out. Phenomenal! The sauce was perfect. Their bread as fresh as can be. The broccoli di rabi fantastic. I always like to patronize all of our wonderful Stamford restaurants but now I think we’re going to stick with Luigi’s. And the price is right….thank you.

I’ve always loved Lugii’s for their food, but the inconsistency in their posted hours is insane. They make enough money to make up when they’re open. They list they’re open until 10pm, but supposedly their kitchen closes at 9pm. So, when I arrive 5 minutes after 9 on my fiance’s birthday after driving two hours just to be turned away – it is pretty upsetting.

I have driven by this place a million times, and tonight my son and I wanted Italian, so I looked up reviews and it looked perfect – highly rated affordable sit down Italian with a great, big menu.
I was so glad to see an ample dining room – increasingly rare these days.
I ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza which was fantastic – great crispy crust, but more substantial than a Rikos, and way, more cheese, which I appreciated. Generous toppings. 10/10
My son is an alfredo addict so he had the fettuccini with chicken – he stopped after his first bite and held his head in his hands it was so good. I tried it too – amazing! 10/10
For dessert we shared a chocolate mouse cake – again, 10/10.
During dinner we saw an Italian lady bringing in a Nonna who had to be 85, lending even more credibility.
This is our new favorite place!
