Around 1:15pm we arrived at Luigi’s. My wife and I ordered veal parm with angel-hair pasta and their meat deluxe pizza. The pizza could have used less cheese and more sauce which was hard to find under the toppings which were ample. The veal parm with angel-hair and meat sauce was rich and thick (not watery) and was the best I have had in the Leesburg / Eustis area so far. the atmosphere is of a dinner type with booths and tables. One web site said take out only and another said dine in which was confusing and when I questioned the person on the phone I was told that was an OLD website?

The best authentic Italian dish I ever had. The chicken piccata was insanely flavorful and delicious. The garlic knots were baked into perfection. I can’t wait to bring my husband here. We love Italian food.

This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to. We were greeted by a very cordial person who gave us a selection of seating and promptly found a table that we desired. Upon arrival she made us feel like family. Shortly after we were seated Jenna, our friendly server, greeted us. She was a fantastic server from the time we sat down in our booth until the time we departed. The family atmosphere in this restaurant made me feel that I was eating at Grandma’s house! The menu offered a spectacular variety of Italian specialties that would satisfy most individuals. I selected the Shrimp Alfredo, with the side of garlic knots, and could not believe how much it exceeded my expectations! The sauce was very creamy and tasty while the shrimp tasted like they just came out of the water. The shrimp were firm and also very tasty. The garlic knots were outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for you next Italian style meal! It is worth the trip because I guarantee(I do not normally add this to my reviews) that you not be disappointed! By the way the prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food that you receive. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I will return the next time I am in the area!

The garlic knots are top-notch I like a little more oil or butter but overall they put a lot of garlic all over it and it’s really good pretty much everybody’s taste buds are different and what one person may call okay another one might say delicious. All in all I’ve been there multiple times now just in the last 2 weeks because their soup was really good they’re garlic knots were really good The lot lasagna was okay I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be ugly. Not quite sure what’s missing I think more of the white cheese and a little more meat would be good. The salads are very good too Nice portion size. But I definitely recommend it I haven’t had anything there besides what I mentioned so far. But I do plan on keep going so that I can explore more.

I got the chicken piccata and it was next level delicious. The garlic knots were PILLOWY and amazing. 10/10 on the food, price and everything else.

Omg this place is amazing. Our first time here and it was absolutely delicious. Our server Vanessa was so kind and attentive. She was such a breathe of fresh air. The chicken parmigana was delicious. The garlic knots are to die for. This was one of my favorite meals since arriving in Florida. Reasonably priced with lunch specials served daily 11-3pm.

Disappointing Service Overshadowed Excellent Food
My wife and I visited Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Eustis, FL on January 9, 2026, expecting a great experience based on the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, while the food itself was excellent, the service and management response left a very poor impression.
I ordered the veal marsala, and while it was well prepared, the portion was extremely small — the veal medallion was roughly the size of a small playing card. When I politely mentioned this to our server, her demeanor changed immediately. She acknowledged the comment but essentially disengaged from our table afterward.
I asked to speak with a manager, who explained that portions are determined by weight. After some discussion, he asked what resolution I was looking for, and I suggested that an additional piece of veal would be appropriate. He abruptly said that was not possible. A few minutes later, he returned and offered a 10% discount on the meals, which amounted to about $5 total. Frankly, I would have preferred a reasonable portion over a small discount.
To add to the experience, I paid with an American Express card, and the server was unfamiliar with the data entry process and entered the CCV incorrectly. When she returned to the table, she loudly announced that my card had been declined. It was not declined — I showed her how to enter the correct CCV, and the charge went through without issue.
The food was genuinely very good, but between the abrupt change in service, the lack of a reasonable solution from management, and the embarrassing handling of the payment, we will not be returning. Quality food alone does not make up for poor customer service

My wife and family came to visit Mt Dora from the Tarpon Springs. We did the tourist thing and when it came time to eat we asked a few locals. Of the suggestions, Luigis sounded best. It did not disappoint. It had a family restaurant vibe. Our waitress was excellent, everyone at the table raved about the food and when the check came I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for exceptional food, great service and a comfortable atmosphere. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Inside isn’t anything super special but it was clean. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming. Order was done correctly and tasted awesome and fresh. Some of the best meatballs that I’ve had anywhere. We had lunch there and they offer a lunch menu so that was a really good deal. Loved the marinara sauce. There’s a spice or flavoring that I can’t quite put my finger on and I would say that it had just a tiny bit of a kick. We will definitely be back.
