I habe eaten here many many times over the past (at least) 10 years. Most of the time the food is pretty good. Today the only taste the food had was onion. From the chicken parm to the house dressing…everything tasted like pure onion. I’m not sure what kind of spice was in the Parmesan (I thought when we asked it would be plain parm) but it was spicy as well (looks like red pepper flakes). The staff is always super friendly and the atmosphere is great (had my daughter’s birthday party here a few years ago)…but the food was way off mark today. I am not unwilling to try again just giving the feedback from the night.

Luigi’s is a Quinlan gem. We’ve visited numerous times in the 3 years since we moved here, including for Christmas Eve dinner in 2024. The service is always excellent, the food outstanding and served in generous portions, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Today I had the Chicken Parmesan lunch special, and as always it was up to Luigi’s high standards. There was plenty of food and I brought home half for another full meal. My companion had the Meatball Parmesan sandwich. She really enjoyed it and also brought home about half to be eaten as another meal. Our waitress Jessica was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. We can’t wait to visit Luigi’s yet again for another reasonably priced, awesome Italian meal.

Well, Olive Garden it is not. Same price but not the same quality.
2 people. We ordered 1) Lasanga 2) Ravioli .
Both Dishes were Heavy thick Pasta, Heavy thick Marinara (not tastier than other marinara sauces, in fact, less distinguished in flavor) Cheese had a heavy weight to it, but also you couldn’t really distinguish the taste of the cheese … the dish was heavy and thick also greasy. Neither me nor my companion felt it was worth the price according to texture and taste.
The owner was some what rude when leaving, as we responded to his good evening comment. The waitress, I liked her, but was over the top with calling me lovey – love almost EVERY response- Sentence. Off putting — but she worked hard to make everything right. Was attentive but not bothersome. Hard worker, she deserved a good tip. I hope she does well. Life is difficult for a lot of folks trying to make rent and bills. Many homeless people right now. Good luck honey.

This is an Italian restaurant in the small town of Quinlan. The interior is typical of a small town restaurant. The staff is very friendly, prompt, and helpful. The star if the shoe is the food. This is my second visit as I come through on business. I had a half order of lasagna both times. Delicious! Toasted, bubbly cheese on top, right amount of sauce inside. So good!

Food was great. They need to change out the bright lights for something with a softer glow. The lighting feels like I’m in a copy store or a staples. The owner doesn’t support our Military veterans by being the only place in the area to not have a military discount. Honestly, it’s a solid 3 with the atmosphere but the food won’t let you down.

I went today. I never have been before. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It’s pretty darn good. Nice big fluffy rolls. The chicken parmesan was a nice big serving of chicken and spaghetti in great sauce. The lasagna was delicious too. The salad was fresh. And tasty. The service was great. Food delivered to your table nice and hot. The server very friendly. Just give them a try. I will be back.

Ahhh buddy! I love this place, pal! The food is always the best! Dino’s the best. Love that guy! Always friendly and honest! Everything is good here. The bread rolls are tremendous. The house salad dressing is amazing! The pasta sampler is my favourite! Been eating here for about 20 years!

Luigi’s Italian Cafe in Quinlan is a hidden gem! I was particularly impressed by their chef’s special dishes. The pizza was authentic and delicious, but the real star of the show was the chef’s special spaghetti. This dish with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes quickly became my favorite.
Finding parking was a breeze – there’s a lot of free parking behind the restaurant. The friendly and helpful servers made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Luigi’s Italian Cafe for anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Quinlan!

Honestly, not good. The bread was great and my house salad was good, but everything else we ordered was not good and my boyfriend had to walk out and got sick off of it in the parking lot. He ordered a Cesar salad and the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I got the house salad and the pasta sampler. I called the waitress over and told her that we didn’t like the food but I knew that it wasn’t her fault so I left her a $15 cash tip but I told her that we weren’t going to pay the full price for the food since we only ate about 2 bites of the actual food plates and didn’t want it to go. The owner/manager told her to tell me that he would offer $3 off and I told her to send him to me. He came over and towered over me at the booth trying to intimidate me and was trying to insult us saying that we didn’t have any money and we’re just trying to get a free meal (but we didn’t want to take it home). Then he got insulted when I told him we didn’t want boxes to take it home and he went on about how his food is the best Italian food and it’s all fresh made that day (chicken tasted like it was out of a can) and that I was being disrespectful and that he’s never had this happen ever with people not liking his food and that this is a problem with me. I tried explaining to him that not everyone’s food taste is the same and he kept saying that I just don’t have money and got really mad when I told him that we left the waitress a tip and it’s not because we don’t have money. We ended up paying for half of the meal after he went outside and got my boyfriend inside trying to argue with him so I walked over and just said we’re paying for half and leaving. I went back over to the waitresses and told them that I’m sorry they have to work for someone like that and I hope they aren’t going to get in any trouble for it because it definitely wasn’t their fault and tipped them all more. Then as we were walking out he was making dirty faces at us. Owner/manager definitely needs a reality check and some Gordon Ramsay treatment on food and restaurant treatment. The picture is how we left our plates upon leaving.
