I had an excellent experience at Luigi’s last night. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — everything from the hearty pasta to the appetizers was well-prepared and generously portioned. My friend and I ordered the Caprese salad (mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and olive oil), along with mozzarella sticks fried to perfection. The bread and dipping oil alone were worth the visit.
Our server, Hayley, was outstanding. Pleasant, upbeat, and punctual, she brought a warm energy to the table and made the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. You can tell she takes pride in her work.
I took my buddy out to dinner to celebrate the opening of my new business, Moral Compass Collective, and Luigi’s was the perfect choice for the occasion. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to meet the owner of this establishment during this visit, but I look forward to doing so in the future. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed my fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and mushrooms — a dish that reminded me of the meals I enjoyed while living in Italy.
Having spent years living in Europe and visiting iconic cities like Florence, Naples, Pisa, Rome, and Venice, I hold Italian cuisine to a high standard. It was refreshing to find a plate here in Leavenworth that carried that same sense of comfort and satisfaction.
The setting is relaxed, clean, and inviting, with a classic Italian feel that makes you want to stay a while. In my opinion, Luigi’s stands out as one of Leavenworth’s best local dining spots. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5
I went to meet up with a colleague of mine, and it was a good spot for it at 5p.m. on a Friday.
The service was great. Our server, Bryce, got to us pretty quickly, allowed us to think our orders and got us our drinks and refills. He was great.
The ambiance is pretty nice. Not overly quiet and naturally lit. There are various sizes tables, a front dining area, a space in the back for larger groups, and a bar.
I had the Luigi special. It was a spaghetti pasta with marinara sauce and lots of meat. The portion was pretty good sized. More than enough for 1.5 stomachs – very generous.
There a lot of parking both lot and street parking for patrons of Luigi’s.
Great experience.
My only recommendation to management would be to invest in a more robust wine menu. It would be nice to have more Italian options. With that said, the Chianti is good!
Our server was Karina who was friendly.
What we ordered:
1. Chicken Piccata $17.95 this is not prepared like a typical Chicken Piccata dish. The chicken is cut into pieces and tossed into pasta with capers and some veggies. This was tasty.
2.) Supreme Pizza $19.95 So the pizza had a bit too much cheese and could have definitely been cooked longer. Crust was not crispy too mushy.
3.) Chocolate mousse $8.00 I thought it was mousse Not a cake I wish the menu said it did not so I was disappointed. My hubby ate the cake and said it was just ok.
