Had an amazing experience at Ludi’s Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the owners made us feel so welcome. They were incredibly kind and genuine, and the staff was super nice, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit.

We ordered the Filipino favorites—shrimp rice, fish rice, veggie cheddar omelette, and the ube pancake—and every single dish was flavorful and well prepared. The food tasted fresh, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. The ube pancake was especially memorable—beautifully purple, soft, and delicious!

Everything we tried was really good. The only small suggestion would be about the shrimp being fully shelled—it made eating a bit messy and cumbersome. That said, it didn’t take away from how great the food tasted.

Overall, this is a wonderful place with great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the owners truly care about their customers and their craft. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Just in town for a long weekend and this place was recommended by our hotel staff! What a find! We arrived at 8 am on a brisk 39° Sunday morning and found a line outside. It was a hour-long wait which was worth it. An elderly gentleman was out handing some hot chocolate for those in line… once seated, he came around to talk to guest and turns out he is the owner. He genuinely loves to interact with guests and provide everyone one with Filipino hospitality.
We order the stack of Ube pancakes and a combo Silog breakfast. Pancakes were bouncy and healthy covered with generous ube sauce… beautifully topped with whipped cream and am orchid flower. The combo Silog had a nice breaded pork chop, a long lumpia, 2 types of filipino breakfast sausages over a generous portion of Garlic fried rice. When the combo showed up, it smelled so nostalgic that I quickly tore into it and forgot to take a pick for the review. Great food! We picked up a couple of turons for a later afternoon snack.
You order at the start before upu get seated and food came out promptly. A nice find and instant favorite!

Food was yummy. Ube pancakes looked and tasted delicious. However they want everyone to order a separate dish which was weird and difficult esp with children. We ordered big plates & wanted to share it but had to order extra food/ drinks just to satisfy this rule.

Worth the wait! Hearty breakfasts and awesome people. Filipino breakfasts with sausages, pork chops and other delicious dishes with “standard” breakfast options like pancakes, French toast, etc. we will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Line moves relatively fast and as others mention you order and pay before seating (once a table opens up). Drinks and food come pretty quickly and there’s no pressure to eat fast even though there’s a line outside. So enjoy your delicious breakfast, and then let someone else enjoy the goodness!

Uncle Greg is the best. You can tell he loves his restaurant. The line is worth it!! I promise. Because once you order (cafe style, preorder and then sit), your food comes to you fast. It’s authentic Filipino breakfast/brunch food. The ube pancake is so rich, so delicious. I always get the combo silog with the garlic rice, it comes with eggs, longanisa (Filipino sausage), pork chops and a lumpia (authentic lumpia, I’m sure it’s house made). You’ll definitely feel like you’re at your cousin’s house for breakfast, because Greg always has a smile and will come to your table to say hi.

Hands down, one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to. My husband says that the ube pancakes changed his life. And this went down as my death row meal. being Filipino, this felt like a home away from home with the combo meal. The rice was perfectly cooked, the sausages were delicious, lumpia amazing, loved the addition of the melon as a side. We also got POG and the butter mochi which was also SO good. I make mochi probably once a month and it does not even kinda compare to what we had at Ludi’s! Service was great, the line was well worth it, it felt like having a bunch of Filipino grandpas walking around checking up on us. Amazing experience!

Ludi’s is hands down one of the best spots in Seattle! The food is incredible — full of flavor, comforting, and truly one of a kind. You honestly can’t find anything like this anywhere else in the city.

What makes the experience even better is the service. The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The owner himself goes above and beyond — he personally walks around to check on every table, making sure everyone’s enjoying their meal. You can really feel how much he cares about each customer, and that kind of genuine hospitality is so rare these days.

Yes, there might be about an hour wait, but it’s totally worth it. Once you take your first bite, you’ll understand why everyone keeps coming back. Ludi’s is a true Seattle gem — amazing food, warm service, and a passionate owner who makes every visit special.

The combo silog satisfied my Filipino cravings as it offered a bit of everything especially paired with their suka (vinegar mixed with other ingredients). Ube pancakes were exceptional! Not overly sweet and heavy and portions huge enough for the table to share. What really stood out was Tito Greg’s hospitality. He made my table and I feel like we were at home. Will definitely visit next time we’re around!

This place easily ranks among my favorite spots for breakfast. Every dish bursts with rich flavor and is prepared with amazing care. The staff is incredibly kind and the service is quick, which made the visit even better. Even though the wait was a little long, the meal was so good that it felt completely worth it. I cannot wait to come again.

Worth the wait and line. If only I can give more than 5 stars, I would! The food was absolutely delicious but the staff there made the whole experience unforgettable. The owner, Tito Greg visited us in our table and shared his life experiences. The story of how Ludi’s started. We cannot wait to go back!
