I had been hearing about this burger place in Beloit so when I was in town for a wedding, I had a small time slot to go here for a late lunch. Burger was fantastic. What was more impressive was how fast I received the food. I ordered, drank a beer, ate my food and paid my check within 30 mins. It is like they knew I only had 45 mins to play around with :-). The place is small. Bar is huge, maybe too big but either way, if you are a burger person…give this place a try. They also had really good beer choices.

Asked for an order of curds when we ordered drinks. They showed up just a few minutes later and were just about perfect. Crispy on the outside chili and cheesy on the inside without having turned into a molten glob. Served with a side of ranch it was a great appetizer.
I looked at the menu and the stuffed burger with bacon onions cheddar and barbecue sauce had my name written all over it! I stopped short when the waitress asked for my order and instead I asked her for the top two or three sellers. The first one she mentioned was the burger I had planned to order so that decision was made!
Burgers took longer than the appetizer to arrive but that was not a surprise based on how busy the place gets. When it showed up I was warned against taking an immediate bite and coached to cut it in half instead. What a great burger! The beef had that rich flavor to it that you get with a nice steak, plenty of bacon, some sautéed onions inside and some outside, and a nice but slightly runny cheese.
These folks know their burgers!

Place is great. I can make smash burgers at home and while I do like what I make at home more than any other place, Lucy’s is a great alternative. I do think this place should be open till around 12 or 1 to function as a real bar. I would bring friends here to drink and eat all night.
This place does have great burgers and you can mix and match your own toppings. Would definitely recommend for anyone to try. Just remember this is best with a beer and a burger. One without the other should be considered a sin.

Ordered the Plain Jane and was one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Patties were very crispy with a good amount of salt content and fresh LTO to top it off. Overall a great experience with fast service and cheap options. I would recommend this place for anyone coming in from Illinois to Wisconsin!

We came here for a Valentine’s day special Less than $50 for an appetizer, two burgers and dessert! The food took a little long to come out but was well worth the wait. lWe had the sweetest server, Kylie. She was attentive, friendly and funny Would be back just for her service Definitely going to be a regular date night spot
