Went in for the first time and was greeted with the best hospitality. The service was amazing! We had a waitress named Rosa. She was very helpful with picking options since it was food we had never tried before. You can tell the food is made from scratch. We tried a few different things to get a variety and even got to try their tea and coffee, which were both very good! My wife got the lamb awaze tibs, my kids got the juicy chicken tibs, and my mom got beef girgiro tibs & I got the meat and veggie platter. Everything was amazing!

This place was such a vibe! It’s so moody and cozy! They had some really good music going and the ambiance was very nice. I had the chicken tibs. This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and I must say it was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful fragrant spices. I am excited to get back and try my next new dish!

My partner and I shared the vegetarian sampler plate which came with 8 different small portions of Ethiopian delights. The food was less seasoned than we thought it would be, but it was still really delicious and a great value @ $25.99 for this platter to share. It was a super fun experience trying Ethiopian cuisine for the first time and our server was so kind.

I just found another reason to be thankful that I’m on this side of town for work a lot. This was everything you could ever want in a dining experience and I can’t wait to come back with coworkers and everyone I know.
Everyone in the restaurant was so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is clean and pretty and the woman who took my order saw me stare at the menu for awhile just asked me what I liked and came out with a perfect a dish.
The food is fresh, perfectly seasoned and the portions are large!

Very good food had the spicy lamb tibs, first question I asked is what they recommended as I do at most restaurants and took the advice and ran with it. Was not disappointed, I had it made spicy as I love spicy food (if spicy is not for you go for non spicy). Also tried the sampler and everything was made very flavorful. Definitely will be going back as I forgot to try the honey wine I was told about.

We were here for lunch. The waitress at first was long, but our poor waitress seems to be the only one working. Despite that, she was very kind and helpful. We ordered 4 meats (lamb gigiro tibs, awazi tibs, kay wot, Alitcha wot) and 4 vegetables (cabbage, Shiro and gomen wot). They were all very cravable and tasty dishes. We will definitely visit again. The owner was also very friendly and gracious.

I just had an exceptional lunch here with a group of friends. None of us had been here before and I were greeted warmly. We first had the garlic and honey tea which was delicious. Then everyone had a taste of all different options. Every single person enjoyed their meal and not one bad thing was said. Even the salad was good.
As a special treat, our hostess Melano, gave us a demonstration of how she makes coffee for all her customer’s from coffeee beans cooked over an open fire in a pan. She then gave us all samples poured from a beautiful coffee pot into espresso cups. Delicious. What an amazing experience. She was a gracious hostess as well as making sure to take into account everyone’s taste level. I highly recommend coming in for this wonderful food and great experience. I’d definitely come back. Thank you.

Lucy’s is seriously so good. The family who owns it is the sweetest and makes you feel so welcome. We sat in the back lounge area and it’s super cozy and feels authentic, like you’re hanging out at someone’s home. I had the sizzling beef dish and it was incredible. The curry chicken was also great. But the highlight was the traditional coffee service. They roasted the beans right there in front of us and it smelled unbelievable. Such a cool experience! Definitely one of my favorite spots now. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice place to be. Had a good time to spend with friends. Nice sitting areas. They take time for your order because they make fresh food. We had vegetarian options. Pretty much enough platter for 2 people. Kids had a great time as well. Colorful but little old interior.
Overall it was good.

Wow, what foo,d flavors and service! Took our work team over to Lucy’s and had a great time. Many of them had no exposure to Ethiopian food before and were blown away.
Milano was our server and made everything very easy including tasty coffee at the end of the meal. We will return!
