Yooooo! If you live or work or occasionally visit Elmira you need to check out this place. Lucky 7 Deli on the corner of Walnut & Washington (used to be a Byrne Dairy).
They make all kinds of things but it’s a Mediterranean/Middle East style kitchen. Been meaning to check them out and finally did. I’m a lamb lover so got Lamb & Rice. It is and 100% legit. It doesn’t look like more than a pile of things but trust me all the flavors are right and how they should be.
Do yourself a favor and check them out (I was not paid for this recommendation just highly impressed at the food which I never expected to find in Elmira)

Love the customer service. Sammy and Alli are pretty cool. I wish them well in this new location. I ordered lamb over rice and bacon egg and cheese on a roll. It was awesome.

The chicken and rice and lamb and rice is amazing, especially if you get it spicy. Everything on the menu is pretty good, including their breakfast sandwiches. And if course, don’t forget to harass the owner. He loves that stuff haha

This is the best place to get healthier to go food in elmira. Smoothies, bagel egg sandwiches, falafel, platters, fresh juices. They have halal food. Amazing quality whole foods for a great price. they take care of their customers. The store has great hours and is always clean. The men who work there are very good people.

My family gets food from here at least once a week if not more. My boyfriend and I LOVE the chopped cheese, and chicken over rice. I also have gotten falafel, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches which were great! My kids love the bagel PB&J and blt on a bagel. Customer service is always great, and when we ask for ingredients to be left off or added it’s never an issue! The smoothies are really good as well. The prices are definitely very reasonable especially with the quality of the food. When we have a larger order we call ahead and the food is ready for us when we get there. Would definitely recommend eating here for breakfast lunch or dinner
