The food was fine, but the service experience was disappointing.
We arrived with sufficient time before closing, yet we were not informed upfront about any ordering limitations or menu availability.
The information provided by the staff was inconsistent ( blond girl with glasses)— orders were initially accepted and later declined — which created confusion and a sense of being rushed throughout the meal.
This was especially unfortunate as we were celebrating a special occasion.
Clear communication from the beginning regarding kitchen hours and available dishes would greatly improve the customer experience.

Our family made a day trip to Fergus and stopped in here for some lunch and boy, we’re so glad we did. Their food was amazing which is saying a lot for a Vietnamese restaurant so far from the big city. The servers were super friendly and attentive. Their menu selection is quite good and the food was delicious. They were able to acommodate our various food restrictions (carnivores, vegetarians, and picky children). The price is very reasonable and the portions are HUGE! We can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. It’s the gold standard that every other restaurant should strive for.

Lucky Lotus is an absolute gem. The food is consistently delicious — fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. On top of that, the staff are genuinely lovely and always welcome you with a big smile, which makes such a difference. You can really feel the warm, friendly vibe every time you visit. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

I recently discovered Lucky Lotus 97, and I feel lucky to have found this place! The Thai and Vietnamese food is wonderful, you won’t go hungry here. During a lunch outing with two others, I enjoyed the special of the day, which was a vermicelli bowl with spring rolls and a fantastic salad with a delicious dressing. The others ordered Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and Pad Thai. Plus, each meal includes a complimentary tea. You won’t be disappointed.

Janie was our server and was sweet, attentive and very quick to point out delicious lunch specials for the day. We decided on vermicelli bowls (beef and chicken) and they were amazing! Excellent portion size, very fair price and fresh and delicious ingredients! This was a great find on my trip to Fergus.

Had a great meal here, Abby made our time very pleasant with her attentiveness and genuine smile. Food was flavourful as always. We ordered Wagyu Beef Dumplings(crispy and flavourful), Pad See Ew(sweet noodles with beef or chicken) and General Tao (a top favourite crispy breaded chicken in red sauce). Everything was lovely! I had ordered the drunken noodles with vegetables, it was a massive portion and delicious. The service was also great, my servers name was Cass. She seemed very kind, quick and easy to talk too.

The chicken satay and peanut sauce was really really good like probably my favourite in the Guelph and Wellington area so far.
The curry pad Thai I really liked as well. Good level of heat when ordered spicy.
The drunken noodles were missing the pop from the Thai basil flavour. Very muted/nothing special in terms of flavour.
Not enough of a portion for protein included in the dishes, especially given the cost.
This is why I deduct a star but I did enjoy it. I can see why it’s popular in Fergus.

Food is always hot and fresh and hits the spot every time. One of my favorite places to go when I’m in Fergus. Cassondra is always a big help when I’m undecided on what I should get. She’s spot on with the quality of food and knowing the menu. She’s always bubbly and very friendly smiling and seems like she loves her job
