Blanca knows the menu and makes great suggestion. Food is excellent. Service is outstanding. There is a gray variety. It’s so important to support local businesses.

“If you’re in Chicago and you love a good Irish breakfast, you have to check out Lucky Grill! This place has that amazing old-school vibe, and when it comes to an authentic Irish breakfast, it’s truly number one. They serve two different kinds of delicious sausages, and the whole meal is just incredible. I strongly recommend anyone passing by, or even locals who haven’t been there yet, to stop in and give it a try. You won’t regret it! Recommended by Captain Ginger.”

Impeccable! They have a huge menu so it was hard to decide, but the lady that answered the phone waved her magic wand and I got the best breakfast perfectly made, all the right condiments and Superman not only delivered but helped me close my door! Food & service I would expect at the Peninsula. And very very reasonable. The mini waffles were stellar! As were the eggs and bacon, both done per my request. The crowning glory was a true eat the rainbow, fresh fruit and one of most that are around now. Gotta go back & try their sandwiches and egg specialties. I’m even willing to get up earlier just to eat their food! Totally changed my rating from 2 to 5. DOWNSIDE IS CASH ONLY. If you love breakfast just show before 12:30 ditto for early lunch!!!!

I had a great breakfast here.
I had French Toast, eggs, bacon with a side of hash browns. All the food was cooked just right.
The people were nice and attentive. If I’m looking for an early breakfast, I know where to go.
I will be returning, I’ll have to try lunch or dinner.
Bicycling: Milwaukee is an okay bike route, though not the best. It’s located right off a side street so that’s helpful. It appears they may have outdoor seating in the warmer weather.

Great diner on Milwaukee. Will go back again. The soup was delicious and so was my cheese omelette. Anastasia is a GREAT waitress. She was so attentive and sweet. Just what I want in a server. Also, they made sure the plates and trash were picked up between courses and always made sure your cup was full✨

Great breakfast and lunch place. Reminds me of a Jersey diner, which is a great thing. Egg dishes come out perfectly and their sandwiches are relish. They also do a pretty good Greek salad with chicken, and it’s nice how soup comes with it. Friendly and fast service.

Well food is generally and price is not unreasonable.
They close early about half hour before they’re posted time and they were rude about it.
Didn’t even bother to apologize.
