Really hope they work out the kinks in their new location. We ordered ahead at 11:15 and it wasn’t ready until 12:15pm. For a bigger space, the definitely need: an intercom system, better communication between the drive thru and front desk, more seating (not sure why they still prioritize “office space” when their bread and butter is people coming to sit and eat.
Lastly, from a set up perspective it doesn’t make sense to have pick up in front of the only entrance. When you first walk in you are immediately immersed in a crowd of people that are waiting for their order, but to someone just coming in, it’s impossible to know if they’re waiting to order. The lines to order are hidden on the other side of the counter. And that was just the inside. The drivethru line was so long it started to wrap around the building and block people who parked. I think if they aren’t equipped to handle food orders in the drive thru they should stick to just pickup and coffees.
Really used to enjoy coming here when they were in their smaller location. I just hope they didn’t bite off more than they can handle.

As always, the food and coffee are delicious. Disappointed in the new space— despite the more spacious locale, the tables are still on top of one another voiding you of any privacy in your conversations. Random flower display in the middle of the cafe taking up more precious space that could’ve been used for seating. No where to wait for your order as you are mixed in with people shuffling in and out trying to find the beginning of the line. The windowsill was filthy with crumbs and tables stained— is anyone cleaning this place? Went for lunch and they were all out of bread? I thought the whole point of this move was to expand but it seems more cramped than the previous location. Not to mention the two different signs on the building making it appear rushed and sloppy. Very disappointing.

Stumbled upon this place while my car was having a automatic car starter installed, and was being detailed at Holmes Auto detailing across the street.
Lovely atmosphere, very homey, bustling with customers sitting but also coming and going for pick up.
Ordered the grilled chicken panini with roasted red peppers and pesto. I had it made GF/DF and it was delicious!!
Ordered a hot latte made with oat milk. I’ve never had a latte piping as hot as this one! Love it! Love my coffee hot, hot,hot! Great flavor, too!

A very unique cafe experience!
There is a screen with the ocean and the sun dancing in the background, the music is relaxing and calm, and there are so many creative options (I love how a London Fog became a Scituate Fog. That’s so creative!)
There are fresh flowers inside and out, and lounge chairs too!
My tea was delicious!!! I got a Vanilla Rooibos.
My egg, tomato, and avocado with an egg on bagel was quite bland. The bagel didn’t have much flavor (I think it needs more salt). The avocado was unripe too (or just super grainy) so that’s unfortunate. Maybe I’ll add cheese next time too. That helps with the salt. I’ve just never had a bagel that tasted so bland which was sad.
I will be back though. Just might not order a bagel. The cafe is lovely!

Sean is an incredible employee at this Lucy Finn’s location! He was so friendly and professional and the sandwich that he recommended to me has truly been one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had (chipotle chicken club). This was my first time here and wow! Also the Berry Boost is amazing and so fresh and has actual strawberries.

Lucky Finn is a locally-owned business, currently w/two locations – Hanover & Scituate.
The Scituate location is literally right on the ocean and has outdoor seating and ridiculous lobster rolls made with local catch. It is beautiful.
The Hanover location lacks the view that Scituate has, but it’s convenient to the highway, has a beautiful interior and a *massive* flatscreen – and I do mean *massive* that is always showing the view of Scituate harbor as seen from the deck of their sister restaurant.
The Hanover restaurant also has some outdoor seating – with more to come – which, during the pandemic, gives one the option of picking up a sandwich or a bowl and then sitting a social distance away in the sun. Nice.
Everything I’ve had here has been solid, and their portions are ample enough that I only eat half of what I ordered and take the other half home.
The picture I’ve attached is of their Tuna Melt w/avocado on sourdough bread. It’s good, but not as good as the breakfast sandwich I had on their everything bagel. That was money.
Important to note that LF does a really good job hiring the right people for their customer-facing roles. Every time I’ve visited, the staff has been friendly, smiling, happy, hard-working, and eager to please. They are a pleasure to interact with.
If you’re in the area of either locale, I’d suggest giving them a try.
Oh, and they have good coffee, too .

They close at 5 PM but if you don’t get your order in before 445 they just canceled it on you but if you actually walk in there like 430 you get the stink guy from everybody so basically they close at 4 PM if you don’t want to get an attitude

This place is great. The interior design is modern, the music is nice, and the service is really great and super friendly. I loved the idea of the screen showing live view from the Scituate harbor, very clever and it adds a special touch to the place. The food is delicious. Great place, a great second location with a new experience.

So, living in the town of Scituate, I usually go to the Lucky Finn locations in Scituate. &This Hanover store is just a very different atmosphere. Don’t get me wrong, all of the Lucky Finn cafes are phenomenal! The owners are very friendly people, who you will usually see behind the counter, working in the Scituate locations. Lucky Finn is more than just an establishment! It’s truly a whole vibe!!-it’s all about a fisherman’s way of life and overall gives an ocean/fisherman-like theme. The Hanover location has a big screen with the Scituate harbor playing in live time on the screen. Although because it’s right after Thanksgiving, they now have a holiday theme on the screen. The coffees and lattes and teas etc., are truly like none other!! They use high-quality products and have standards I appreciate. If you’ve never been to Lucky Finn, stop by and give them a chance! You will not be let down!
