Food was very expensive snack bar food. Only one server for all the tables outside, so even though she did a good job she was spread too thin.
The patio seating was very nice. There is a partial view of the golf course, and the flower boxes were pretty and well-kept.
I split the garden salad and philly cheese steak with someone else at the table, so the pictures of that are half portions. The philly was very plain and cold by the time we got it. The fries were decent. The salad was okay.
From what I saw, the burger is probably the best menu item- that or the buffalo chicken wrap. The onion rings also looked pretty good.
We had the cheese curd appetizer. The cheese curds were like bite-size mozzarella sticks and were served with marinara sauce. Not bad, but expensive for what you got.
Overall, it was expensive, plain food with a pretty good view. I mean, it’s $10 for a hotdog. That seems excessive. Could be okay for a burger when halfway done golfing.

We are frequent customers of GVL and regulars at Freddy’s. Chef Justin is great! Mia, Gage etc etc etc are all great!!! Very disappointed to see our favorite boom boom chicken wrap was taken off the menu. As someone who worked at Freddy’s for a summer… it’s a popular item! Disappointed with the menu changes .

I took.my wife to dinner tonight for her 75 th Birthday. It was by far the worst celebration for her. We got crab, steak, prime rib. It was all cold. They took it back and brought it back overcooked and the only thing hot was the soup. Spoke with manager and his main comment was that the desert would probably be cold too. Not even a care that it was my wife’s birthday. Very disappointed. The crazy thing is we were the only ones in the place then. Not surprised. Manager said come back in summer and should be better. Wow. Doubt we will ever go back. Sad, and apologies to my wife. I will make it up to her somewhere else for sure.

The breakfast was great. Coming here is like going to a Sanctuary when you sit outside . We had the absolute pleasure of meeting the chef, Justin, who was literally the friendliest and most welcoming guy we’ve ever met. He told us about how he sources as much food as possible locally. Love hearing about the bacon from WI and French toast bread from Clearwater Travel plaza! We love Grandview and we LOVE Freddy’s.

My wife and I had a great time in one of the outdoor igloos. It was pretty pricey to rent out, but for how much fun we had, I think it was worth it. It was in single digits outside so it was a little cold even with the space heater. We dressed warm and the staff let us know this would be the case before we arrived. Hand warmers helped out just fine! Food was alright, a little spendy, but all had great flavor. Our server was extremely helpful in getting us into the igloo and getting our food in good time.

Ok, so we ate in the Igloo on a bitter cold night. Yep, I knew it would be chilly but come on – close them down if the heaters and igloo can’t keep up. What do I know, I don’t usually eat in a winter igloo 🙂 I figured it would be colder than the inside buuuut didn’t realized we’d be frozen the entire time! Our food came out in to-go containers complete with plastic utensils. The food was immediately cold too. Hard pass. And yes, we paid extra for the igloo. Haha wow – I wish you would have just said “our heaters won’t keep up w this cold so eat inside tonight, dummies”.

Order for burger and wings took almost half an hour with no other diners in sight. Dry rubbed wings were over coated with salty and sweet rub. They probably were trying to figure out how to make the food in the kitchen. Just order beer here. They can’t screw that up.

I do not understand why people rate this place 5 stars. It was the most simplest, cliche food you can think of. I expected a menu with more than 10 items. In the middle of eating, we were asked if we wanted our bills and kept being asked if we wanted anything else every 10 seconds… I felt rushed and unwelcome. Food was okay..
