the reviews looked promising so i ordered here for the first time.. never again. i wasted my money cuz i had to throw everything out (except chicken wings) due to the fact that it was inedible. the rice tasted like it was from ’78 and the general gau’s chicken was nasty. also listed under spicy and not spicy at all. the chicken wings were fine, the crab rangoon was too soft for me. while the portion size was big (a lot of rice and general gau’s chicken) the flavor was not there AT all. everything tasted bad and old. i should’ve known something was off when the restaurant got my order ready as fast as they did
dk about atmosphere or service or anything like that cuz i ordered thru doordash

I recently visited Lucky Dragon in Lynn, and the experience was utterly appalling. I had already ordered the food online, so I went to pick it up in person. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sight of premade rice sitting in a big, uncovered white bucket. Right next to it, there was another white bucket filled with already cooked chicken wings, also uncovered. Both were in large quantities, ready to be refried. This setup was less than 10 feet from the door, where anyone entering could easily cough or sneeze, contaminating the food. The open kitchen concept might be trendy, but here, it’s downright alarming and unhygienic.
Hoping the food would redeem the initial impression, I took home my order of chicken fried rice. To my disappointment, the chicken didn’t even look fried. It seemed they added the chicken to the already cooked rice, shook it around in a wok for a few seconds, and called it a day. The lack of effort was evident in every bite.
Determined to give a fair review, I sampled the other items I ordered. The egg roll was decent, but nothing to write home about. The ribs were more bone than meat, and the chicken fingers were just okay. Overall, the food was far from spectacular, and certainly not worth the health risk.
To top it off, I developed a sore throat a few days later, which I suspect might be from the questionable food handling practices I witnessed. Interestingly, they have an “A” rating from the state’s health department. I can only assume they must know when the inspector is coming because if they randomly popped up, this place would fail! Needless to say, I will not be returning to Lucky Dragon. If you care about hygiene and quality, steer clear of this place.

It’s take-out Chinese food, no more, no less ++++ it’s our go-to spot, even on New Year’s Eve, great service, prompt and delicious. One time I saw Marky Mark there, he was on his way back from the Bobby Brown show at The Lynn Auditorium. However, as of late their random up charges and inflation has costed them a star.

This is not the first time ( but it will be the last) that after ordering with a pick up time I got there and found my order has not even been started. Then to top it off 1 of my items was missing. The service here is non existent.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It reminds me of the American dream !!! A very tight nit family all working together. I believe it’s 3-4 generations that work here. They are always very pleasant and their food is always fast fresh and hot. I have never had a single bad experience here and as of now I’ve probably ordered from here 20-30 times so far. This restaurant reminds me of the foundation this country was built on. Which is small business. I enjoy every aspect of this restaurant. You should give it a try and never judge a book by its cover !!!

I WONT BE BACK! I had to change my review from 5 to 2. This place went down hill fast. Ordered a house fried rice and it was not cooked to order, old rice with added meat. The lobster sauce was like a beef jelly. Absolutely gross. We took people there from out of town because I would brag about this place. Very disappointed that I have to take this place off my list!

I ordered for delivery an hour ago it’s about to be two hours. They are forwarding my phone calls now. It’s leaving a message saying. “They are closed” when they actually close at 8:45pm today and also says open online. Totally weird and unnecessary. I could have been eating a long time ago. 1/10 customer service.

Definitely the best Chinese food in the area. Really good size portions, tasty & reasonable prices.

Delivery driver cant follow directions and kept calling my deaf girlfriend on the phone even though the instructions clearly say LEAVE AT DOOR. Never spending another dollar, since you cant even be bothered to follow instructions. It also took an hour to get the delivery, it was delivered by a third party delivery app which was disclosed AFTER I paid (a violation of consumer protection laws, as you must disclose this info BEFORE the purchase has been made) and the food was ICE COLD. They also never gave me the sprite I ordered and paid for. Absolute GARBAGE, AND THE FOOD WAS TRASH TOO.

fast delivery and carefully packaged. everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. best boneless spare ribs I have ever had. very tender and moist meat with crisp ends. not overly salty like most places. the pork medallions were moist and tender too! I can’t remember the last time I had take out pork strips that weren’t all dried out… the fried rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I have lived nearby for a few years and have tried most of the Chinese food places in the greater area. I think this one is the best.
