IMO, this place is a chef’s dream. Where else will I get the combination of a challenging game of Make Your Own Sauce (And Meat, Veggie, and Noodle Dish!) with authentic and varied ingredients, some crazy grill skills I get to observe and a fabulous pile of food at the end. We were both blown away by how fun and delicious this meal turned out to be. (Love the hot oil, white pepper and sesame oil options, BTW.)

While I was enticed by the low price, that turned out to be the least interesting and wonderful characteristic of Lucky Dragon. Lucky, indeed! Lucky for everyone!

Absolutely amazing food. Few suggestions, follow the sauce recommendations. When it’s busy, it requires patience, and finally, don’t forget you can take it Togo. Hands down, this is a hugely underrated spot in North Bend. Guy cooking the food is amazing at what he does. You can’t go wrong with all vegetables if you think carbs are your enemy.

I went when it was a Chinese buffet and hadn’t planned to come back. But they have reopened as a Mongolian grill, my husband and I went in. SO GOOD! We’ve since been somewhat regular repeat customers.
Very affordable to make a plate, and since you fill a to go box to do so its easy to make it for a meal plus leftovers. Staff are always kind and respectful and keep the prep area clean and freshly stocked.
Highly recommend, especially since the nearest Mongolian grill is Eugene. Great option for families, and there is rice and rice noodles as a gluten free option, and tofu/ plenty of fresh veg for vegans/vegetarians.

This is our second time going here, first one was before Covid & it was regular Chinese buffet — was not a fan. BUT NOW….we are in love with place!! They have switched to just Mongolia grilling. You fill your take-out box with fresh vegetables, meats, and different noodles, and sauces ( they even have recipes for certain flavoring in case you don’t know what to do ). Then the grill master cooks it all for you — I loved watching him, you can tell he really loves cooking. He was offering suggestions to the other family of what sauces to use and how they taste ( very helpful ). This is now our new regular place — so excited to go back!!
Wish they had Sake or Sapporo beers….would totally extra for it. But their hot tea was good as well.

NOT A BUFFET ANYMORE….
It’s more like a Mongolian grill…
Server was super helpful and polite.
And the cook was outta this world cool. I did love the recipes for how to use all the sauces. Their homemade sauces were to die for!!! The portions of food were gigantic with tons of fresh vegetables to choose from.
Only sodas and water to choose for beverages. Someday a cool addition of sake would be fantastic with their delicious food!
I’ll definitely come back.
Thank you

This place is a hidden gem. Great quality food at a great price. I know they were once a buffet but now do Mongolian. They have an awesome selection of ingredients and everything tastes fresh!

The place is clean. It’s crazy that it’s not more busy because it’s good!!

Very small, family owned and run restaurant. There are 5 small buffet tables with a small selection of food. Shrimp, baked chicken, bbq ribs, spring rolls, fried rice, sushi and several desserts are among the dishes offered. The orange chicken is exceptional, as are the spring rolls.

The atmosphere is quiet and subdued, the crowd never too large to make it feel cramped. The lights are low with festive, flashing bulbs surrounding the buffet tables. Culturally appropriate music plays at a respectable level in the background.

The restrooms are very clean and the wait staff is always on top of refills and taking aways used plates.

Cost of the meal is on par with the quality of food served here.

I don’t know how they were before Covid since I never went before then, but this is an amazing restaurant now. If you have never been to a Mongolian grill type restaurant before and are not sure how to create a great sauce, just ask the main cook. The sauce is key!!! They are a family owned restaurant and every one there is kind and always helpful. The food is fresh and amazing! Just give it a try before you make decisions based on review from many years ago!

My husband and I were very pleased with this place. The food was really good and the service as well. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the area was kept clean. It was frequently attended to also. You go in and get to pick everything you want in your dish, veggies, meats, noodles, sauces, and then you bring it to the grill, and it is grilled up for you. It doesn’t take long at all, either. I am very pleased with this place. Will definitely be going again!
The mix I did is as follows;
(teriyaki, garlic/soy/ginger mince, and a scoop of powdered chicken broth for my sauce. Then, choose mushrooms, onion, celery, green onion for my veggies, beef tenderloin, and chicken breast for my meat with yokasoba noodle.)
