Only in town one day and glad we stopped here for dinner. We sat outside in the beautiful weather. Our bartender/ waiter was great. ( Sorry i forgot his name) The service was excellent. He made an awesome strawberry margarita. My son ordered the psycho chicken sandwich( looked awesome) with fries. I ordered the scallops Nantucket with roasted carrots and onion rings. Everything was cooked to perfection. We somehow managed to dave toom for dessert. My son had the toll house cookie pie with ice cream and whipped cream. I had the molten lava cake with ice cream and whipped cream. With all that delicious food and drinks we ordered our bill was reasonable. If im ever in this area again i will definitely come here again.

I had an amazing experience at Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill! The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was great, and the service was even better. A special shoutout to Mariely (also known as Llama) at the bar — she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel personal and enjoyable. She brings awesome energy and really makes the place feel like home.
The wings are a must-try — perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and some of the best I’ve had in the area. And if you’re craving something with a little kick, their Mexican dishes are delicious too, especially the tacos and anything that comes with their house-made sauces.
If you’re looking for good food, good vibes, and exceptional service, Lucky Dog is definitely the spot. I’ll be coming back for sure!

We reserved the basement room last night and it was great! Catered Mac and cheese, pulled pork, and Caesar salad was amazing. Kids had free pool, parents had cheap drinks!! We’ll be back!

So my niece and her boyfriend are heading to down to Virginia so she can get her master’s degree. We were both up in the lakes region and decided to meet for dinner at the Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill because it looked like a fun place to go to. We were waited on by the owner’s daughter who is so sweet and very friendly (great waitress ). The menu has a lot of choices so it was hard to choose. Eventually we ordered dinner which Jake got the pulled pork panini, Kerra a Caesar salad with added buffalo chicken tenders, Amanda the pulled pork nachos, and I got the sautéed chicken tortellini. The service was fast, the food hot, and super delicious . This was a fun place to go, maybe next time we can eat outside. Will definitely be back though.

We just ate here Fri 10/17/25 upstairs and it was terrible. The food was gross especially the fish sandwich. Two of the people i was with got it and it was completely over cooked frozen fish and saturated in grease. One of them looked like they got the tail and it was over fried and disgusting looking. I got the meatball panini and it wasn’t good either. Both the sauce and meatballs were over cooked (burnt sauce) yet bland. The waitress (a girl w black hair) and host guy that i interacted with when we came up from the lower level were both rude and pushy with us. My friend complained about the fish sandwich the waitress literally said “oh well” and walked away.
I will say the young girl with black hair working the bar on the lower level was friendly and professional. The rest of the staff were immature and borderline rude.
Go there for a drink and leave.

Great spot in Plymouth for a bite and some drinks. The food is good and the place comfortable and staff are great. The pulled pork nachos are delicious and you get a lot for your money. The half plate is plenty of food for two so be sure you have a few friends if you decide for the full portion!

The tavern is located in a busy main street. It was a popular spot on a Saturday night. I haven’t seen a complementary cheese and bread like this before. There’s a block of cheese you can slice yourself and there’s butter available as well. The service was friendly but we did wish our server stopped by more frequently to refill water.
The haddock sandwich was really good and I highly recommend the curly fries that came slightly seasoned. The prices here are very affordable and is a good spot for something simple. Next time I would want to try their pulled pork.

Wow! Downstairs bar is the place to be! Friendly staff and customers. Food is outrageous! Pork Nachos as an app (note: Nachos are HUGE, ordered a 1/2 serving to split and it was easily enough for 4-6 people – yes the 1/2 size!) And they were a taste sensation. Fish sandwich was good and steak tips were cooked to perfection. Will return when back in the area!
