I am sure the chicken and lomo salado is very good here, but I would come for the seafood. One of the few ceviche places in town and some very good cooked seafood dishes including whole fried fish, octopus, and shrimp. They have several good rice dishes including fried rice and paella. Big parking lot, good service when dining in.

As soon as we walked in, we got greeted by a very friendly girl. Being our first time, we weren’t sure what we wanted and the girl was very patient and friendly. We ended up getting a bunch of things and the food was outstanding. This definitely is five stars.

I have a feeling this used to be an amazing place, maybe they’ve just lost their way. The taste of the empanada had great flavor, but it was cold inside. The place looked a little ran down and empty but with a little effort, I’m sure it could be an amazing spot again

Only people there, food took a very long time
Ordered empanadas, Supposedly chicken.
Opened both up to reveal essentially a potato mash with a few shreds of chicken, not even real pieces of chicken. Very bland and inedible. They were pre packaged from freezer, deep fried and very dark.
Then ordered the steak salad, which was more well seasoned. Meat is barely tender and this also took about 15 more minutes to come.
French fries were pretty bad soft and barely cooked. Also, likely frozen pre packaged.
When I took back the empanadas, waitress argued with me saying “ they are not American, that’s how we make them”.
I have eaten at many different Peruvian style restaurants and have never encountered bland potato chicken mush.
I have not sent anything in a restaurant back in years. It’s highly unusual for me.

As a latin american with a degree in peruvian cuisine this place is the best in NC. Taste precisely like home and the portions are huge for the price. The family owned stablishment also grows their own herbs for making the salsas. It is great to have a piece of home at home. Rock on hermanos!!!

What a bad experience. We ask for ceviche, one fish and the other one octopus, both it tastes like dish soap and really raw. The yuca look like a rock and dry. The cashier or the only one waitress had an attitude from the time we ordered. She even charged us before we have even he food. I ask her to cancel the transaction and she said that she couldn’t do it. We didn’t eat the ceviche and we have to pay for it. Bad experience.

this place is called lucky chicken and has 0 chicken for one. secondly i had an emergency and had to leave. we offered to pay for the drinks as we did feel bad and hadn’t ate any food it wasn’t even brought out. the manager gave us attitude for needing to leave and said “why order if you have things going on” she then wouldn’t let my fiancee look at the screen at all while he was paying she she tried to charge him for everything. we tried being polite but she was very rude and ended up tipping herself without our knowledge DO COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE SCAMMED AND MISSTREATED

Came in on my lunch break never been here before the waitress at the counter during lunchtime was very polite. She gave me samples of the juice explained to me what they are how they were made that they’re fresh. I ordered my food to go, but it was so peaceful. I decided to sit sit down and eat …The food is amazing. The empanadas are freshly fried they are so light and so flavorful ….. don’t miss out on this place

Came here to enjoy some indoor dining as I heard they had great ceviche.
got the mixed ceviche which was really tasty but mostly just white fish, so I’d probably get the cheaper option of just white fish ceviche next time
we also got the paella which was alright, the spicey sauce made it much better but it needed some sourness in my opinion andsome of the fish was a bit overcooked
tostones were big and delicious
service was nice, they accepted my Groupon discount, and served us quickly
I’d probably come back for ceviche.
edit came back for more classic ceviche with tostones and yuca fries
small comment, I’ve noticed this place is inconsistent. sometimes they serve the ceviche with classic white potato’s, sometimes sweet, sometimes with a sauce and others without. still good
edit.. updated to 5… yes inconsistent in size but Soo good on flavor ONLY FOR WHITE CEVICHE
