Very clean, friendly staff, food was good. Disappointing they don’t have a hibachi. It was $50 for 3 people! Seemed a bit high!

Don’t let those bad reviews scare you off. Food was hot and fresh. Service was top notch.

We tried The Lucky Buffet in Norwalk Ohio for the first time tonight, March 19, 2025. We ate at dinnertime , 5:30 pm.
The food was just awful!!!
None of the food had much flavor and was all very bland. The egg rolls available were so hard I could not cut it with a knife. When fresh ones were brought out the were not much better. Only stuffing inside the egg rolls was plain shredded cabbage. No vegetables , nothing. No flavor once again.
The cooked mushrooms in sauce were still raw. Coconut chicken and honey chicken , both tasted old and hard.
Sweet and sour chicken , all bread like inside, with a tiny piece of chicken, which did not taste fresh at all!!
Stir fried rice, dry as a bone and flavorless too.
I tried the egg drop soup and bland and greasy too.
I did not want to bother trying any other dishes of food from the buffet. Nothing tastes good.
There was more food in my napkin that I had to remove from my mouth, than I actually could eat.
The fortune cookies were so hard, must have been old, we could not even chew them , so we could not eat those at all.
Desserts were very dry and obviously old . YUCK!!!
The only thing good about our meals were our drinks.
$20 per person, including the drinks.
A restaurant should take pride in the food that they serve to the public. It is only good business practice.
A big waste of our money, and we are senior citizens on a budget.
Guess we will go home and have a bowl of cereal.
We DO NOT recommend eating at the Lucky Buffet in Norwalk.
Peking House in Norwalk has much better Chinese food, but they do not serve inside , it is take out only. But their food is of much better quality and flavorful.

The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. Our waitress was outstanding. All wait staff was busy ,not idle. With the exception of one young lady hanging out on her phone. Broccoli and cheese was good albeit a bit greasy. Cheese biscuits were good.white rice was on spot. My husband enjoyed the bacon shrimp. Unfortunately it goes down hill from there. Food was tasteless and greasy. The hot and sour soup was neither, including temperature. For 2 adults, drinking hot tea and coffee it was over 40$! Really was not worth it. Really was hoping for better. We personally will not return

Latin music playing in a Chinese restaurant should have been our first clue but maybe that’s why the jalapeño chicken was the only tasty and hot in temperature food, everything else was just not good.
I hope the owners read these reviews and improve on what could be a great place to dine.

I was a great place to eat but must have gotten a new cook. Because the breaded shrimp still had the shells on them which made it very hard and messy to eat. Even most of the coconut shrimp had the tails left on.

My cousins and I ate here today around the time it opened. After being there about a half an hour the food was at a nice temperature. There was plenty to choose from, too. I particularly liked the Hot and Sour Soup, General Tso’s Chicken, Honey Chicken, Shrimp and Zucchini, Fried Rice, Crabmeat and Cheese, Stuffed Mushrooms, and the Rice Noodles. I’m not a big dessert enthusiast, but I did enjoy some ice cream and a couple of cream puffs.
Our waitress was awesome! She was very friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed our meals and we will definitely be back!

Nice looking place inside.literally the only redeeming quality.
I should have known when I walked in and the food smelled terrible.
I’m trying to be kind, but there’s no way around the fact that this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had.
Cold food, narrow selection of dishes, and the flavors are basic.
What a disappointment.

The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The food was terrible. Tasteless. Over and under cooked. And way over priced. My family of 5 (one was free) was $55. We tried several items on the buffet and nothing was good. I couldn’t finish anything. My kids only ate jello (they love Chinese food) and my laid back husband said it was terrible. We won’t go back.

For a new place not run by a traditional family they did a good job. The foods I enjoy were all acceptable for a place this new. I tried several new things and was pleased. The egg rolls and rice were GFS quality. Give them time to grow into it and it will be very good. If I had to complain it would be about labeling the food better but acceptable given it crosses three cultures. I’ll be back
