The ice cream is honestly disgusting. The texture is off like it’s very old or has been melted and refrozen. Black Walnut has always been my favorite flavor but my husband and I couldn’t stomach finishing the ice cream. They also wouldn’t let me get a kiddie size because I’m an adult but I had bariatric surgery and that was very off putting. I was so excited to write a review for this place it’s very cute inside but I have to be truthful. Horrible ice cream.

We are avid ice cream novices. We travel a lot and our family favorite, is stopping for ice cream! When we entered Lubell’s we were greated with a warm “hello and welcome” So nice, I could’ve hugged her. She offered my husband to taste the ice cream and gave him a spoon sample. She served each of us and was so polite. The ice cream was really good. The young man working was changing out the trash and cleaning. Not to mention they keep a clean parlor!
We paid the lady at checkout and left a nice tip for such friendly service. I noticed that she had a cane, and felt lead to pray for her.
There were other people who came in behind us, that received the same warm, inviting and friendly service.
We will definitely be back when we are traveling through again.

Was excited to try this place for the first time. I did like the interior decorations. I was disturbed to be informed when paying for my small ice cream that I had to spend a minimum of $4 for my card transaction. So I had to grab another overpriced item I had zero interest in purchasing in order to proceed. Per the reviews here the customer service doesn’t sound that great. I will likely not visit again. Best of luck, hope all these reviews help make needed business adjustments

Immediately upon entering the Store, I was asked if I was ready to order? I asked her to give me a moment since I just walked in. I was told by the lady sitting off to the side I can’t wait long. I was literally the last one in line and had only been in the store barely 30 seconds. There was no one behind me. I’m not paying for that type of service so I left. Not sure if the ice cream is good, but the service is terrible

This place is not well run, there is no atmosphere, and everything felt so off. We were charged $20 for 2 single scoops, but the lady said it would be $16. I hope the owner will improve, but I don’t think we’ll be returning. 2 stars because the ice cream tastes good.

Went to get some ice cream after having dinner, stopped by here and found odd being asked what I wanted and if that was it. Was trying to figure out which flavor I wanted when the lady was already charging me without me getting my ice cream.
Then for a waffle cone and 2 scoops $12?!?!?! Very overpriced for ice cream not even made in store. Def not going back

I’m new to town and decided on a whim to go support this business, after reading all the negative reviews on here.
I’m glad I went to check it out but I don’t plan to go back.
The ice cream was fine. Blueberry cheesecake hit the spot.
My two scoops of ice cream in a cup were $8.75. Fine, whatever. But my payment seemed abruptly demanded from me from across the room, while I was still being served.
After the girl finished scooping my ice cream and closed the case, a woman sitting in back of store either gestured to her or cleared her throat or something.. Girl then proceeded to re-open the case and scoop some of the ice cream she’d already served me out of the cup and put it back in the ice cream case. How ridiculous.
Also got the impression that the woman in the back and the one at the register were mocking me the entire time I was in there.
Bad vibes all around. No thanks. I’ll take my business to someone who appreciates their customers.

Ordered 1 hot chocolate. I watched as they made a cup of Swiss Miss right in front of me for $5. Not only that, it’s watered down and doesn’t even taste good. Would not recommend.
