For more than forty years, Lucile’s has been a staple among Colorado residents and visitors, serving delicious creole dishes inspired by the flavors and culture of New Orleans. Lucile’s has been owned and operated by the same family since 1980, and has grown from a small eatery downtown Boulder to more than six locations in the greater Denver area, from Littleton to Longmont. As a family establishment, we always strive to provide a comfortable and unique atmosphere, in addition to excellent food.

A great spot in Erie for Cajun-style food! Their Apple Cinnamon Pancake, one of the fall specials, was fluffy with just the right touch of cinnamon — comforting and delicious. The Eggs Sardou came in a generous portion; the shrimp were perfectly crisp, the potatoes flavorful, and the eggs Benedict cooked to perfection with beautifully runny yolks.
The biscuit was huge and fluffy, paired wonderfully with their homemade jam and hot sauce — both excellent! The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience warm and welcoming.
We sat outdoors, which was lovely, though unfortunately there were quite a few hornets flying around that made it a bit distracting. Still, the food and service were outstanding, and we’ll definitely be back!

So, I have to start out by saying we were so hopeful that THIS location would be up to par from the Denver location which we live and is ALWAYS delicious, quick and always taste amazing! Well let me start out by saying it is very small and not much room. I was able to just walk in and get seated. The waitress took a while before she came to our table, we saw her interacting with her other tables but for some reason kept passing us up. She finally did come to ask for our drink and food order. This location does have a “special menu” which has MardiGras inspired drinks & food items. We did not try any. We ordered what we always order at Lucile’s Denver location so we were so disappointed when the dishes were dry, fishy, and not up to par. We did let the waitress know that the cheese omelette was dry because there was no ricotta in it, & the fish was fishy tasting so much that our daughter decided not to eat it. I had ordered a hot tea when she asked for our drinks and on our way out I asked for a hot tea to go, she said sure and brought it to me and tried to move it and it spilled on the ground and my husbands right hand!!!! Scorching hot water!!!! He went to the restroom to wipe off, smother waitress gave him some cream for burns she grabbed from the first aid kit and our waitress apologized…… there was no ill take care of the bill or discount……. Instead my husband heard our waitress tell someone who asked snot what happened say “ I didn’t pour it on him…..?” Well, needless to say we won’t be going back due to their lack of compassion, empathy and just customer service. His hand a few days later is fine now but it did get swollen and scorched from the boiling water that hit the skin. It was his right hand. No one other than the waitress offered her apology.

It was a gloomy day but I was greeted with a warm smile by the servers. Warm beignet and fresh OJ to get me started!
I had the Cajun breakfast (only ate half and had the rest for lunch! Everything tasted wonderful, the homemade ketchup and jams were also great!

Very cozy creole cafe chain with generous delicious portions. We started with four soft doughy beignets drenched in piles of powered sugar. My spiced sausage were not overwhelming and welcome addition to my shrimp & grits. The biscuits are even tastier with the apple, raspberry, rhubarb strawberry jam or butter smeared on. The freshly squeezed orange juice was not overly sweet and complimented my chicory coffee.

Cute lil place with a spacious outdoor area. AMAZING food, wide variety. I got the shrimp po boy, those I were with got a breakfast meal and the gumbo fries. We all left very satisfied. They had brunch alcoholic beverages as well!! Not difficult to get to nor was it in a crowded area even though it gets a lil busy. Loved it. Will be a frequent customer.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and finally got the chance to visit Saturday morning. They opened at 8am, we showed up about 15 mins early and got our names near the top of the waitlist. More and more people began to show up as 8am rolled around. I would suggest getting there a bit earlier. We were the third group to get called on for a table. We sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful day. There is a big tree right in the middle that gives a significant amount of shade to almost the entire patio area. Noticed they had Mardi Gras beads hanging throughout the tree as well which added to the whole aesthetic. The food was absolutely amazing. Don’t skip on the beignets and the biscuits because they are baked fresh and super fluffy. We all tried different things and all of them were delectable. I got the Eggs New Orleans with poached eggs and hollandaise on fried eggplant slices. The Cajun sauce they put on top is a chunky tomato based with spices. I got the cheesy jalapeño grits on the side with potato hash browns. Honestly some of the best hash browns I’ve ever had. The grits were packed full of flavor I loved the bit of spice kick they had to them. Also tried the Eggs Sardou and the Cream of Spinach was so good. The Eggs Benedict Po Boy was one of the most unique dishes I’ve ever had. The bread is so soft and the ham with the poached eggs just made every bite perfect. I can’t wait to go back again to try more selections.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at 3 Luciles locations in Northern Colorado, and the consistency of the experience is amazing. Great food, great atmosphere, superb service. Best biscuit I’ve ever had, bar none, and the creole gravywill knock your socks off. The jellies at the tables are absolutely amazing. It doesn’t matter what you order, you won’t be disappointed.
