For more than forty years, Lucile’s has been a staple among Colorado residents and visitors, serving delicious creole dishes inspired by the flavors and culture of New Orleans. Lucile’s has been owned and operated by the same family since the restaurant’s inception in 1980, and has grown from a small eatery in downtown Boulder to more than six locations in the greater Denver area, from Littleton to Longmont. As a family establishment, we always strive to provide a comfortable and unique atmosphere, in addition to excellent food. Lucile’s is proud of our reviews on Google Reviews, so feel free to do research before you try us! We promise you won’t be disappointed.

Lucile’s has a phenomenal New Orleans vibe. The space is cool, laid-back, and surprisingly spacious. Even though it was busy, we never felt rushed, which made for a really relaxing meal.
The Food & Service: 4/5
The service was excellent from start to finish. They don’t take reservations, so expect a wait—ours was quoted at 20–30 minutes, though we were lucky and got seated in about 15. There is a nice outdoor seating area to soak up the sun while you wait.
• Cheese Omelette: Delicious and well-cooked. My only gripe is the $1-per-vegetable add-on fee, which felt a bit steep for a veggie omelette.
• Potatoes: Perfectly seasoned!
• The Secret Weapon: You have to try their homemade hot sauce. It really set the whole meal off perfectly.
• The Biscuit: Huge, fluffy, and fantastic.
The Drinks: 2/5
I ordered an Oat Milk Latte, and honestly, I’d skip it next time. It wasn’t up to par with the rest of the meal, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Stick to their famous chicory coffee or a mimosa instead.
Overall: A great spot for a weekend brunch. I’ll definitely be back for the food and the atmosphere—just with a different drink order!
I didn’t love the red beans and rice, but that’s always hit or miss.
we arrived about 15 minutes early and my kids and i sat and played with a mr potato head while we waited.
we had shrimp and grits, beinets, and some special that starts with r. that special dear lord jesus the way the sauce paired with the collards. im a happy chick. as per usual they have homemade jams.
my cousin had a po boy that also got my attention that thing was a monster!
Daniel was our server— he was very sweet, down to earth and took the time to learn our names/shake our hands. It’s been a while since we’ve had a server that embodied southern hospitality; the place was hopping, and he had every reason to be too busy for us. I got the Eggs Jennifer on a biscuit and my husband ordered the Cajun Omelette with half grits, half potatoes. We are very excited to explore their menu in the coming months.
