We visited Luciano’s in Wrentham for a Saturday night date and the place was extremely busy. Even with a 7:45 reservation, we waited to be seated, and service throughout the night was on the slower side. Several of the specials we were told about were already sold out when we tried to order them.
On the positive side, the food itself was very good. We had the house salad, the two types of bread they serve (the warm Italian loaf and the seasoned focaccia), the Melanzana Ripiene, the Veal Saltimbocca, and the 3lb stuffed lobster. Drinks — red sangria, Whaler Pale Ale, and a chocolate martini — were also enjoyable.
Overall, the restaurant has solid food and a nice atmosphere, but Saturday nights seem to be overwhelming for them. We’d try it again, just on a less crowded night.

We had dinner there last Friday evening. It was wonderful. We dine out frequently and totally enjoyed Lucianos. It’s a bit “rat pack” old-fashioned, but in a nice way – hard to explain. The restaurant consists of a maze of a several rooms – so, even though it was very busy, it was quiet once we were seated. We dressed up a bit because we wanted to but there were people in all sorts of attire – I would recommend business casual – though I hate that term. As soon as we sat down, fresh bread (two different types) and a wonderfully garlicky dipping sauce appeared. The menu is fairly large and consists of the usual suspects but also offers some specials not found elsewhere. The 2 1/2 lb lobster is highly recommended. We started off with the lobster ravioli appetizer. I didn’t love the sauce but my boyfriend was fine with it – personal taste. We both ordered veal dishes as a main course – veal franchese and saltimbocca. Both extremely well prepared, very tender – no leftovers regettably. The service is attentive without being annoying – they know their stuff and are well-informed as far as the menu offerings and the specials as well as the wine list. It has become our new favorite “go-to” for Italian food. It’s a tad bit pricier than others, but so much worth it. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were extremely friendly. I went here with 2 work colleagues. They provided amazing warm bread. We shared 2 appetisers the meatballs and the tomatoes, these were excellent. I then got the bolognese which was very nice however they put cream in it which I thought was odd hence why it didnt get the full 5 stars but that is just my opinion on taste. I’ve been to Italy and they do not put creme in the sauce. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

I recently attended a beautiful baby shower & had a graduation party that was hosted for my son at Lucianos Restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, elegant, and perfect for such a special celebration. The private dining area was set up beautifully, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.
The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and presented perfectly. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was, from the appetizers to dessert. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the event ran smoothly, always attentive, friendly, and accommodating to every request. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area who wants to have a party.

Wow what a treat. I had been here 30 years ago. My grandfather and his brother (Jim and Freddy Gilmore) used to come here frequently. When we walked in I recognized Luciano and was happy he is still there and working his magic. We were very impressed with the entire experience. Our waiter was excellent. Our food was delicious. The focaccia is amazing. Peaches unbelievable. Veal and pasta great.
If we lived near by this would be a weekly visit. If you are near by and hungry do yourself a favor and go have a great food experience.

What an incredible experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly gets it right. The food was outstanding—clearly made with care, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that you can taste in every bite.
The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. You can tell this place takes pride not only in their food, but in the experience they create for their guests.
This is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why supporting small businesses truly matters. What a great night out. I’ll be back for sure.

Our first time trying this restaurant was so delightful, from the time we walked into the front door to when we left all the staff was very pleasant and held the highest hospitality. The bread came out first and it was so good we had to get a second helping. The Chicken Parm dinner and Shrimp Scampi was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The waiter was Kameron L. and he was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I give this restaurant not just 5 stars but 10 stars.

We attended a financial seminar and were treated to a gratuitous meal. The server was very pleasant and professional. The appetizer garlic bread is amazing and the dinner bread was warm and crusty. We had a classic dinner salad that was crisp and fresh. Next we had caprese chicken with angel hair. It was a generous serving and perfectly prepared. Desert was coffee and a scrumptious, white, strawberry cream and almond cake. We’re definitely going back.

A popular Italian restaurant with plenty of tables but if you want to dine on the weekend best to make a reservation.
Our waiter was great. Gave us a long list of specials, was attentive and professional. Our meals were very good and decently portioned. You won’t leave hungry! We also unknowingly sat next to Mr Luciano himself and we ended up making some great conversation about Italy. He personally recommended the bread pudding for dessert. It was wonderful. We ended the evening extremely full!
