We were in New Milford yesterday for an event and decided to drive around a bit on our way home to explore (super cute town) and found LUCIA. They were completely booked for the evening, but Sophia who greeted us said “let’s take a walk outside” and she offered to set up two stools at the service bar counter so we could enjoy dinner! So sweet. Leticia took care of us, was personable, and mindful of my allergies. I loved the veal saltimboca and my partner enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. Refined classic. If not for the fact that we had to zoom back to Manhattan to return our rental car, we would’ve stayed in lingered to try dessert (and perhaps also enjoy an adult beverage). We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

We drive 25 minutes to get to Lucia. Great menu in a nice atmosphere. The staff is always professional and courteous. The deserts are made in house by the owner each week. Outside summer patio great for family gatherings.

Had dinner last night with 3 other people. Our fourth visit in last 5 weeks and conceivably our last. Our server who i should have realized wasthe same young man the prior visit, was again almost non existent. I should have posted that one first. Bussing service was also scarce. The quality of the food was good other than my dish was not very tasty and was not what I asked for. Our server never approached us to see if we were enjoying our meal, needed wster or bread or anything additional until time for dessert. Other visits it appeared a manager or someone that was interested in our dining experience did not appear to be there. The bus boy it seems gave the takeout to the wrong individuals. Not sure what was up. Sorry about this as i thought they had great potential for a regular go to.

So I took off 1 star for each dish I felt was subpar. Ordered a pizza to start and I haven’t been more disappointed in a floppy underseasoned wet pizza. The tomatoes on the pizza were pretty much raw and just oozing water over the pizza. Flavors were disappointing and lacking. Probably could also have used another 3 minutes in the oven. The chicken Parm was probably the most disappointing thing that I’ve ordered though. It was soggy where the water from the chicken soaked through the breading. I had more flavor from sucking my fingers after eating celery sticks. No salt, no seasoning. Nada. The pasta that comes with the Parm was worse than spaghetti Os. I think I would have rather eaten chef boyardee. Flavorless sauce with overcooked pasta. The Fazzoletti D’Aragosta was actually good and only saving grace. The filling was flavorful and seasoned. The past was cooked correctly and the sauce complimented the dish well. Lastly, the tiramisu was… Not tiramisu? No lady fingers… Just disappointing yellow cake with the flavors of tiramisu. Dry and tasted fake. Go to big Y and get crav’n tiramisu fro the freezer section. Half the price and infinitely better. The blueberry mojito does deserve a shout out and pretty well made. Overall, I think this place needs to work on the basics of an Italian restaurant or just take it off the menu.

i loved my dinner at this restaurant. service is pretty good but not amazing but the food was great. i got a ceaser salad and split a margarita pizza with my mom. added arugula on top and it was great. could have used a little more sauce and cheese but had a great thin crust. while we waited for our food, which took a little while, we were givers bread with butter oil and a mix of pickled vegetables which was nice to tide us over for our loonngg wait. overall good experience and was definitely yummy. also pizza is too big for one person unless you are pretty hungry

A local favorite. Never a disappointing meal. Most recently was there to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday. Our food, service and overall experience will become a forever memory. Lucia is on my repeat list and I use any excuse to dine at Lucia! Lol

A warm, inviting Italian restuarant with a menu that does not disappoint! A surprisingly large menu that is well thought out with each dish being complex and carefully crafted. From the appetizers to the desserts (be sure to try the authentic Lemonchello!) everything is wonderfully prepared and presented by a friendly staff that cares.
