Lucca at Logan International Airport
Awaiting a late morning flight from Logan in Terminal B, I stopped for a light breakfast at Lucca. Within minutes Mauricio greeted me with a glass of water and took my order (bagel with cream cheese, $6). Again, within just a few minutes Mauricio returned with my order, perfectly prepared.
The menu and bar service were both more than sufficient for travelers; the service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and, given the time of day, there were only four or five occupied tables. So well done: five stars Lucca.
Just a note to fellow travelers: unless they’re friends of yours, no one in a public space like Lucca really wants to know intimate details of your personal life. During the first fifteen minutes of my stay at Lucca, a traveler one table away dove into a loud and detailed phone conversation about his less than successful love life and information about how his job was other than ideal. Sigh.
Coincidentally, and perhaps ironically, while Mr. Traveler went on and on about himself, the bar’s public music background was playing Billy Joel’s “Keep it to Yourself.”

The waitress rather talk to a co worker the entire time then take care of her tables. The food was horrible, under cooked and cold. $68 for a burger, chicken sandwich, fries and 2 drinks on top of the non existent service and subpar food. Fast food is better than this DUMP! DO NOT EAT HERE!

The part that bothers me about the whole situation. Is that I walked past three restaurants that I could have sat at and chose theirs because it was a nice looking dining area. As I walk in the bartender tells me, I can sit anywhere as i’m sitting there ten minutes go by.He’s ignoring me the servicing do the same, so I get up and say, hey, it’s kinda rude that you guys have given menus to other folks that came 10 mins after me.But yet i’m still sitting here. So as I was about to leave, I decided to go up to the service and say that’s pretty rude, that you guys left me over there, they’re going to tell me that that part of the restaurant was closed. And then proceeded to tell me, I could just leave then. So as I was leaving, I decided to turn around and ask for supervisor, bartender insisted, I sit at the bar and told me that it was his fault that he didn’t know that part of the restaurant was closed. I told him I don’t drink. And it was pretty rude that you looked at me. Well, over 10 times while serving customers at the bar walked by the servicers, and not once told them I was sitting there. So as I proceeded to leave, I turned around and asked for a supervisor, i was told that if I didn’t want to order anything, then I could just leave.I said, so i’m not gonna get to speak to the supervisor and ask when he told me no, you could just get out of our facility. when I told him i’m not leaving till I speak to the supervisor he called the police on me! I personally would never, ever ever suggest anyone to go to that restaurant ever again. They were really, really disrespectful. And for me to have to sit at an airport, with a 3 hour delay, just wanna eat some food? And be treated like I’m a criminal because I wear a job and suite and not a 3 piece suit. It’s beyond me!!!!!

Stacy was about the best bartender ever. The food was good but she totally stole the show and provided a level of service and customer attention that reminded me of a family reunion. If you ever have the opportunity go in and see her, you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Stacy, you are an angel!

For an airport restaurant, we found the food and service good. My wife ordered the tomato soup and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Also, our server was very nice. I’m not sure if all the bad reviews are from first time flyers or not, but if so welcome to flying in the US. Airlines and airports in this country offer horrible service. The cost of a bottle of filtered water from the municipal tap that costs three cents to produce is sold for $5. Airport food is way overpriced and bad. We found the food served at this restaurant surprisingly good.

Beautiful atmosphere for an airport restaurant but I had to ask my server for my only refill as she was walking away from checking on my food, and I sat for 30 minutes with an empty plate and empty drink with my waitress just standing there chatting up all her coworkers as they worked around her. She didn’t check on me the entirety of the meal and never refilled my drink. I still tipped her 5 dollars considering the meal was 45+ dollars for a single plate of linguine. The linguine was good but the shrimp was beyond overcooked and rubbery. This place needs some serious retraining or it may be the worst and most expensive place to eat in the airport.

I had a great experience here. Diana was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. When I mentioned my allergy, she handled the situation with so much care and immediately helped me get a new dish without any hesitation.
Her attitude and hospitality truly made my visit enjoyable.
Thank you, Diana, for the amazing service — you really made my day! Highly recommended.

Avoid at all costs.
An order of toast less than warm with a cold pat of butter – impossible to spread. The coffee came well after I finished the toast – was told the machine was acting up. Who doesn’t have coffee ready at 7am? It tasted like old coffee zapped in the microwave – stinging hot. When it came time to pay I was told they don’t take a cc for under $10 bill however a Cdn debit tap didn’t work and you can’t insert the card so it was suggested I go to an ATM. Had it not been for the absolutely horrible food I would’ve ordered anything to bring the tab over $10 but did not. I did tip the server (not her fault she works in a sorry excuse for a restaurant).

Very unpleasant experience here. The waitress was rude and argued with me over a drink I sent back. It was so sweet I couldn’t even drink it- sickly sweet. She argued with me saying it wasn’t… also she was very cold and seemed irritated while taking our order. The food was mediocre and about what you would expect from an airport but at a fine dining price. Very disappointing.

Since we made it to Logan Airport early in the morning, we decided to have breakfast at Lucca Restaurant located near our gate in Terminal B. The server was really friendly and was very polite when I asked to customize my order and only choose scrambled eggs with bacon (without the bagel). While the pricing is typical for an airport, I don’t feel it was overpriced for what we ordered. Their hot coffee was exactly what I needed to get my day started!
