I thought it was time to try Eggplant Parmigiana. It was delicious! Eggplant was thin and not too breaded. Tomato sauce was simple and completed the dish. Wife had the Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina. The ricotta dumplings firmness was just right and the accompanying sauce was bright with flavor. Wood fire pizza was incredible. Great smokey flavor with a light sauce and cheese. For authentic Italian food Luca’s is the place.

I ordered two pasta dinners to go and when I got them home I threw out half. The pasta is like junk or fast food. I called the managed and she never responded to my request for a call back. This is a new owner and they don’t justify the name of the previous owner. This restaurant used to be a wonderful experience and after trying it with the new owner I can say I will never go back again. Too bad as Lake Stevens is always looking for good food . This one fits into the greasy spoon category!!

I just went into this restaurant that I have never been before to be told I shouldn’t have sat myself down. The sever seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful. Then she processed to tell me that my table was dirty and next time I should wait. I got up and left because as a guest I would never talk to someone that way. Put a bad taste in my mouth to not even want to try the food.

Luca’s closed in December of 2013. Any review prior to that time is for an entirely different business. The new owner’s opened in May of 2014 and the name was changed to Bruno’s Pizzeria in March of 2015.
