If you want something to eat in Paw Paw you have to come here. The Berger’s are super big, and anyway you like them. Excellent lunch menus and the owner is the cook. Can’t go wrong here and the pricing is better then reasonable. Bathrooms clean and super friendly.

Enjoyed sitting on the porch eating burger and fries. The staff was really friendly and, since the restaurant is located in Paw Paw, they brought out a ripe paw paw for us to taste. Really created a fun memory for us.

This quaint little restaurant located in Paw Paw West Virginia is a dining treasure for the area. The restaurant is located a short distance from the C&O canal . There is a map in the restaurant where you can place a pin where you are from. The community is very small and needless to say there aren’t many options for eating out. Amanda’s place has a nice size menu with a variety of Sandwich options, sides, entrees, and breakfast items. Everyone in our large party today was greeted by an extremely friendly waitress who treated us like old friends. The food was hot and good. A group ordered a bacon cheeseburger, chicken wrap, pancakes, chicken fingers, and a hot open-faced roast beef sandwich. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend stopping in for a diner type meal.

A lovely little mom & pop in the 1st floor of a big old house. The food is great, portions are good, and prices are reasonable! They also have a world map with a surprisingly wide array of pins representing their patrons from around the world!

I happened upon Amanda’s restaurant on a road trip on my bike, hungry and getting late I stopped and I was really happy I did! I had a burger with all the fixings, fries and a coffee which the waitress made for me because I was cold from the road. My burger was really good and flavorful and the fries and coffee hit the spot. The staff was really inviting and friendly, I spoke with a couple of local folks that were there and they raved about the food and they weren’t wrong. I love stopping at these roadside local restaurants when I’m on the road. It’s a great way to meet folks and have some food for the soul. So If your on the road in and about Paw Paw, West Virginia stop by.

What a wonderful experience. Amanda was chief cook and bottle washer. My wife had the Cheese Steak and Fries. She said it was very good. I had the Hot Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes and Corn. You could cut the Roast Beef with a fork. My meal was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I are now living in Paw Paw. We had breakfast today. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Coffee is delicious and I love coffee. Excellent staff and service. To add to this review 3/11/21 Amanda’s Place has the best hamburgers and cheeseburgers I ever had!

We came in during our stay at paw paw campground, while on our bike trip from pa to dc. The experience was amazing I am a vegan and our host went out of her way to make me something not on the menu. So delicious and huge portions. Friendly polite and extremely hospitable!

This was a great place to stop after our 9+ mile hike at Log Roll Trail! Amanda is super friendly, we had refreshing unsweetened tea, and of course treated ourselves to some hearty food. We got the steak and cheese and the Reuben. Both sandwiches were fresh and melty and delicious! We definitely made the right choice.
