Luca’s New York Style Pizza is your local, family-owned mom and pop pizzeria! Open in Stow since 2011, first in the little red shack on the corner of Routes 59 and 91. We moved to our current location in the Shoppes of Stow plaza at Darrow and Fishcreek Roads in 2021. The family behind Luca’s has been a staple in the Akron area with pizzerias in Downtown Akron (Serpico’s anyone?) throughout the 90s and early 00s. Our dough is made daily and is then hand-tossed into the perfect New York Style (thin crust) pie. We also offer calzone and stromboli, subs (try the homemade meatball sub!), salads, wings and cannoli. Come on in and bring the family! We can’t wait to see you!

I came across this place playing on maps. I saw the pictures and thought would give it a try. It was a half hour drive so I thought I would “Go Big” and get an extra large Deluxe, even though it was just for me and my wife. I subbed black olives for bacon. Wow what a pizza! I could only eat 2 pieces. It’s 2 feet across! A piece barely fit on my plate! I was so good we had it the next day too, and I still have a freezer full of pizza. Tip, reheat frozen pizza in a non-stick pan slowly, maybe with a cover. It comes out crispy then.

New location, same great tasting New York style pizza. In the past, when they were located at their old location, I had only tried the pepperoni pizza. This time around I tried the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and white veggie pizza. Worth a try if you like New York style pizza.

First time stopping in and ordered two calzones which were made with freshly chopped garlic, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Pleasantly surprised at how everything seemed to be made from scratch including the marinara and crust was baked to perfection. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

Best pizza I ever had hands down! I hate red sauce pizza and one day I tried this cause my husband brought it home, they definitely changed my mind about it! Fresh ingredients and so delicious! The pizza is HUGE so if eating for 2 a small is actually perfect. Would always recommend and come back!

I had previously written about how lousy Zeppi‘s pizza was, and how I wish there was a place that we could go to that had some New York style pizza. My husband and I found a place on the border of Hudson and Stow it’s in the same plaza as spicy sombreros. Our pizza was decent! At least it’s close to New York pizza is we’re going to get around here that people are and they are very friendly my husband and I had just a cheese pizza start then we went back and had some meatballs put on it. My husband bought a calzone was good. Hopefully they don’t switch hands or change but so far so good this place is decent. the pizza was good! And they are very reasonable here with pricing!

Pizza was mediocre at best. Staff and kitchen seemed more interested in their “legalize marijuana” shirts and merchandise than making a good pie. Crust was limp and soggy even for NY pizza standards, and the sauce was bland except for being very salty. Had the “Rick’s Choice” or something like that, one of their specialty pizzas (ham, bacon, sausage, pepperoni). Good amount of toppings but very unevenly distributed. Some slices had almost only cheese and others so dense one couldn’t pick up the soggy floppy slice so resorted to knife and fork (too soggy to fold and eat). Really disappointing pizza and experience. Will not be returning

Awesome New York Style pizza! The slices are huge. Fold them in half and enjoy. Great dining area with plenty of seating. Their cannoli’s are amazing! Staff are very welcoming, and the kitchen gets the pie out quickly! Hands down a great place for whole pie or by the slice.

Fantastic pizza – this was the Philly Steak – you don’t get cheated on toppings and the prices are super reasonable!! The poppers were really good but let me say that the ranch dressing was superb – tasted homemade and was just perfect for the poppers AND the pizza! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

My family has lived in the Hudson Ohio area for a decade and this is by far our favorite pizza place. They also sell pizza by the slice (and their slices are huge). Highly recommend. Also—be warned—the extra large pizza is VERY big but also very fun.
