A Texas staple. Luby’s cafeteria is just as good as I remember it being when I was a child. The chicken fried chicken is a must. And for the perfect not too sweet tea: 3/4 un-sweet tea, 1/4 sweet tea, 2 lemons squeezed and dropped. Chefs kiss.

Food was great ad always. Would have given a higher star on service of the girl that was our supposed waitress hadn’t basically demanded a tip. She brought us straws, which if they had been by the drinks we’d have gotten ourselves, and took our plates when we were done. How did that require a tip?

Definitely a must dine here every time we are around East El Paso. I highly recommend fried fish. People are so nice, fast and provide anything you need at the cafeteria bar. Chill ambient, good for quick bites, and low prices for a great value. 100% recommended!

A Delightful Dining Experience at Lubby’s.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lubby’s, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The service was exceptional. Our server, Letty, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to answer our questions and offer recommendations, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. She always excels every time we come to this place.
Now, let’s talk about the food! Every dish was very tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection. The temperature of the food was spot on. I had some fish with two sides. I had some spinach and mashed potatoes. Usually in other spots this taste like box or caned, however this was a welcoming home meal experience.
My parent had the pistachio crème? Not sure of the actual name, please don’t judge for that. In my defense I just go there for the food and the quality service of Letty.
Overall, our visit to Lubby’s exceeded all expectations specially with Letty service. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a warm ambiance made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

Mr. Santos, Daniel and the entire staff are professional and their kitchen is equipped with people performing their duties in preparing the food with fresh ingredients and vegetables. The menu has so many options for children, adults, and vegetarians. Plus, the varieties of desserts are delicious. They welcome you with a great smile and are ready to serve you. The dinning area is always clean, plus the waitresses and waiters are very nice and hardworking people.
They leave us speechless every single time in the best way possible so I highly recommend this restaurant. We always have a great dinning experience.

I have dined here many times. My teenage daughter loves to eat here. The food is always hot and fresh. A decent selection of items to choose from. Not the Luby’s of old and the last of the Mohicans when it comes to cafeterias. It has always been the best Luby’s in El Paso.

Our trip was great, people very friendly, courteous the food looked delicious. Well, we went for the fish, was way too dry, crust on fish too hard. Cooked Kale salad very salty for me. I am sorry, but the food needs more flavor.
