As someone who has been coming back to Hokkaido Ramen Santouka time and again, I can confidently say this place has earned a permanent spot in my dining rotation. On my latest visit, I went for the vegetarian ramen and honestly, it did not disappoint.
The broth was rich, comforting, and surprisingly deep in flavor for a meatless option. It’s clear the kitchen puts real care into crafting their vegetarian offering rather than treating it as an afterthought. The noodles were perfectly textured, and the toppings were fresh and generous — nothing felt skimped on.
Speaking of portions, I left feeling genuinely full and satisfied. The bowl is well-sized without being overwhelming, which I think hits the sweet spot perfectly. And for the quality you’re getting, the price is incredibly reasonable — budget-friendly without ever feeling “cheap.” It’s the kind of value that keeps you coming back.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service has always been consistently warm and attentive across all my visits. Whether you’re a ramen regular or a first-timer exploring vegetarian options, Santouka delivers every single time.
If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor — go soon. And if you’re already a fan, you already know.

We went there on a week day night and it was full but a table opened up with a few minutes then we were seated within 10 minutes. The booth was very comfortable and Service was very, very attentive.

Water service was very swift and menus came with it. We ordered the Shio Ramen $15 and the Shoyu Ramen $15 and the Kimchi Ramen $18. They arrived piping hot and perfectly prepared. The broth was very delicious the noodles were done just right. We ordered extra eggs on the two ramens that didn’t have them… Highly recommend adding the extra protein bc of their incredible texture, the eggs are extra but they are made as they should be.

Also requested two orders of the Ikura — salmon roe from the sushi bar — each order has three for $9. We also ordered two 8 ounce bottles of hot sake for $7/each.

For dessert we chose to have the fish shaped red bean pastry — each order comes with two and whipped cream — and scoops of green tea ice cream.

Really liked their ramen as well as their Shiyake. I’d prolly rank this too 2 ramen in Seattle area, broth is very flavorful and great tasting, ramen was just the right texture. Price for the ramen combo is also very reasonable especially for Bellevue downtown.

There’s wait but totally worth it, parking sucks tho.

We really enjoyed our time at Hokkaido Santouka Bellevue! Amazing, fresh, piping hot food and excellent service from the whole restaurant. Family friendly as well, with perfectly portioned kids’ sizes. I had the Vegetarian Ramen. It was terrific. Our party loved it! We will be back!

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Bellevue has been my go-to ramen spot since I moved here 3 years ago. I still remember arriving on a moving weekend, craving ramen, and finding out it was just a 5 minute walk from my unit.

The staff and atmosphere are welcoming, and the ramen is the reason I keep coming back, deep, comforting flavor that hits every time. My daughter is a ramen fan like me and she’s a big fan too. Consistent, satisfying, and worth the visit.

The Takoyaki was great! We also tried the shio ramen which was delicious. Only downside is they don’t allow ordering extra noodles on the side.

Parking lot was pretty small, you have to be lucky to get a spot. Service was fast and friendly, would visit again.

This is a solid go-to spot for ramen lovers. The broth is rich, flavorful, and hits the spot without being overly salty. Noodles are cooked just right, and the toppings are fresh and satisfying. Their side dishes—especially the gyoza and fried chicken—are also worth trying. Service is friendly and efficient.

Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area and craving a comforting bowl of ramen.

A cozy ramen spot nestled in the heart of Bellevue. While the experience was enjoyable, it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the glowing reviews.

Dishes tried: Chicken Karaage, Miso Ramen, and Vegetarian Ramen.

Verdict:
• The Chicken Karaage was crisp and flavorful – a solid starter.
• The Miso Ramen was equally satisfying, rich and comforting.
• The Vegetarian Ramen, though well-balanced, leaned toward the milder side; a dash of chili sauce definitely helped elevate the flavor.

Overall, it’s a dependable place that won’t disappoint, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking. A good option when you’re in the area, just not a destination in itself.
