Luby’s is a great place to eat if you’re looking for a home cook meal. There is a variety of all types of food here. There’s many desserts as well as beverages. Great location and great service.

We were pleasantly surprised at the improvement of this restaurant. The employees were friendly and helpful from the salad bar to the cashier. Employees were smiling and made customers feel welcomed. The restrooms were near, and the food was good. This is a tremendous improvement from the unpleasant experiences we’ve had in the past. They must have new owners.

The restaurant was clean, the service was very good. The young lady at the cash register was very nice. I had the soup and salad for lunch, but didn’t realize I was also supposed to get a piece of bread. So she called for it for me. The food was the same as it always is, so I appreciate the consistency. The baked potato salad was very tasty, and the greens in my salad were fresh and NOT wilted.

The place looks nice. The people are friendly. The food though needs improvement. We always goes to different Luby’s location and this is not as good as the other ones. I wish they have regular corn and shrimps, but we didn’t saw them. The salad doesn’t look fresh. The chicken tenders were good but bone in ones were not so. There was too much crust on the chicken fried steak and less meat.

The staff in line was pretty rude. I wasn’t rushing but they seemed overwhelmed. I pointed to what I wanted after the man asked several times what I wanted. He still gave me something else. Even after i pointed at what I wanted. I took it to not cause any problems. A server there made a point to say she wasn’t our server yet kept coming by our table to side eye. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer and the sides were cold. It was not worth the $50 at all for 3 people. (2 adults 1 child)

Not too bad but could have been better. Took way too long to get through the line. By the time I got to my table some of my food was cold. My meat was at least still pretty warm and tasted good. The spinach was nasty but black-eyed peas were good. My server was very nice and did a good job. Over all I’ll give it a four star, better than a three but really not quit a four but close enough.

So went to Lubys today and the waitress was amazing the one comment of dislike had to be the food service line. It was so backed up that our food grew colder because of it. There were 2 registers but one person checking everyone out. Also they didn’t tell you about promotions like kids eat free Saturday and Wednesday and was charged his meal. Still though the service from the waitress was amazing.

We come here because my mom loves Luby’s for special occasions. This is her go-to place. So, for her birthday two weeks ago, our extended family of 12 gathered to celebrate her birthday and we had a great time. Our waitress was super friendly and funny. She was very attentive. The food was great! I loved the meatloaf. My mom said her turkey was dry, but it was because she didn’t get any gravy. We had enough food around her to accomodate her so everything worked out! Thank you!

Some of the food is okay, maybe 30% that they offer. The salad selections are dry looking and wilted. The other food selections are the same way, not fresh at all. Their staff are extremely unfriendly, even to the point of being rude. The only friendly staff are the ones who come around to the tables to ask if you need anything, I think because they’re hoping for a tip. Too bad, we had a lot of happy memories going to Luby’s when our kids were growing up. But, no more happy times there.

The food was good. The servers were pleasant and the waiter was attentive. This Luby’s was in stark contrast to the one on Hampton. The service is going down rapidly at the Hampton cafeteria. Somebody need to go over there and teach them courtesy, especially the Spanish cashier.
