I had a great experience at Luanda. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are happy to explain the dishes on the menu to you. The menu at Luanda is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I would definitely recommend Luanda to anyone looking for a taste of Cape Verdean cuisine with a Portuguese influence.

Recently had to locate a venue for a brunch for 23 people and had heard good things about Luanda’s, so decided to give them a try. Well, I was not mislead in any way…from the planning process where I met with the Owner and Co-General Manager Jaysen to solidify details, to sampling food and beverages as I was unfamiliar with some of the menu items. I received clear, concise communication during the process and all aspects as planned were executed to beyond my expectations. All who attended were pleased with the food, atmosphere, musical selection, AV equipment available for our use (microphone and large TV to display our events logo), signature beverages that their Mixologist made to perfection, and wait/support staff were friendly, so accommodating, and helpful. I cant say enough about how happy we were with Luanda’s and want to share our experience in hopes that others will choose Luanda’s for their next event or just stop in for a great meal!

We came in 5 mins before the actual place opened just as the owner was coming in as well, she said she never lets the first customers of the day walk away. She personally seated us, and since we have never had Cape Verdean food before she told us some of the popular dishes we might enjoy. The atmosphere was great with regional music playing, all of our food came out pretty quickly, and with a smile on her face. The fresh bread they give is great and it’s warm, perfect to the start of a meal. The prices are very reasonable but really the food is amazing and we will be going back next time we are in Massachusetts!

Was looking for food out of the ordinary places I go for my 26th birthday. I found Luanda’s menu and decided that’s where mu girlfriend and I would go for my birthday dinner. I am more than happy with the experience I had at Luanda. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was super friendly. We got the Jeysens sampler, the quail and chicken wings for appetizers. They were all delicious. I got the cod casserole and that was also phenomenal. My girlfriend got the seafood paella and she loved it as well. We will definitely be returning to Luanda in the future.

I catered from Luanda’s for a 60th birthday party and had a tremendous experience. Amelia was so professional, responsive, and communicative. She helped guide me to placing an appropriate order for the guest count and made great recommendations for food options. The food was delivered on time and was wrapped so well! I will definitely cater fro Luanda’s again and would highly recommend this restaurant for catering needs!

I’m not Cape Verdean but I love the music and have been to Cesaria’s in Boston so we were passing through Brockton. The food (bacalau Gomes de Sa) was very good but we waited about 45 minutes to get it after the bread and wine were served. The waitress forgot the canja (soup) and we only got that after the meal. The biggest problem was the bill with the “18% in-house consumption fee.” In Europe this would count as a tip with a few $ possible for good service at discretion of customer. The explanation I got from the cashier-lady was not clear and seemed to suggest that an extra tip was needed for the waitress. I feel you should clarify because 2 tips is not good business. I left her $7 extra but would have left her more if it had been explained.

Go with no rush if you’re in a rush order a head. It’s fresh cooked at the moment authentic Kabuverdianu food. Service is good friendly and proper.
