I haven’t eaten meat since 2003, went Vegan in 2005, and I’ve eaten out at a lot of different vegan comfort food establishments. This one is nice. It has a modern, clean atmosphere rather than the dodgy diners you often find in the comfort space. My party of three ate outside. The server, who was also the baker, was exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was spot on. My potato cakes had that cheesy chile warmth that you’d demand from a potato cake. I had their soup of the day as well, which was a corn chowder. It was lovely, with perfectly cooked potato and carrot chunks and the garnish must have been just thrown in at the last second because it was delicate and flavorful. My aunt and uncle had the Route 66 burger and some kind of waffle sandwich respectively, which I had to snap a quick picture of because it was gone the next time I looked up from my plate. My uncle is an omnivore and I’m sure he recommended this place to me. I am pleased to live only a few minutes away. I’ll be back.

I am sincerely impressed with the chicken dinner that I had. The portions were actually impressive and matched the price point for the dish. The vegan chicken was super tender and perfectly crunchy on the outside, and the vegetable were just the chefs kiss. The brown sauce didn’t need any additional salt, and the mashed potatoes were cooked to perfection. Absolutely zero complaints. Even the side salad had an impressive salad dressing. That doesn’t normally stand out, but it did this time! The price matched the portions and the flavor. I left a happy customer!

We were excited to Uber here and enjoy some vegan food. Overall (and I hate saying this) the food was pretty meh. My daughter got kids chicken nuggets which were just warmed up gardein chunks. My buffalo wrap needed extra buffalo as it has almost no flavor.

Service was amazing and friendly. Menu had a big selection which was nice.

Not sure we would go again.

We’ve been going to Lovin’ Spoonfuls since they first opened and we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there. This is a great place for vegan comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.

I was so looking forward to this meal being delicious and it was not. The woman explaining the meals to me and what everyone enjoys getting was very kind. It’s just the taste was lacking for me. However the cookie was delicious! As I always state, this was my experience. Try for yourself and you may think differently. I didn’t even really eat it and threw it away. I hate wasting money…ugh!
When it’s busy, it’s hard to find parking in the plaza.

I like that you can order whatever and not have to ask if it’s vegan. The Philly cheese steak was filling and tasty. The blueberry basil drink was refreshing. The pumpkin bread was thick and sweet with sugar crystals, really good. I wanna keep coming back to try everything.

The portions are huge. The chicken breast pasta was good, but I couldn’t even eat half of it. Also tried fried pickles — sounds weird, but they were actually pretty good

As long-term vegans visiting from Maine, Lovin Spoonfuls is so very much appreciated. Excellent food and service, and their vegan baked goods for dessert – so difficult to otherwise find — are excellent. We just special-ordered as take out a vegan Mexican chocolate cake for a birthday party we were hosting prepared by the restaurant’s baker, which was truly outstanding: beautifully presented and delicious. All our (non-vegan) guests loved it!

OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, the service as lovely. They were so kind, we stayed a little passed close to finish our desert. I have been thinking about this place for the last 3 days since we went and i am seriously contemplating the 3 hour round trip to phoenix just to get another cinnamon roll and grilled cheese… My only complaint…Someone bought the last slice of red velvet cake before i did 🙁
