All organic ingredients which are my favorite.
The drinks are delicious even if you aren’t a vegetarian/vegan/health nut like I am. The salads will fill you up they’re very large in size. Best muffins I’ve had in years! Some of the best service I’ve ever gotten the people here are fantastic!

Stumbled into Loved by the Sun by chance and we’re so glad we did! Loved that you could use any smoothie base as your Acai bowl – it gave us so many flavour options. No formal seating inside other than benches so be prepared to take it on the go! We did the Tropical and Monkey Fuel as bases with the Super Cosmic toppings. Delicious!

Loved by the Sun uses the most beautiful produce, I love the freshness of the salads. My go-to is the Greek salad, I get the small, it’s perfect for lunch, comes with quinoa and hummus as a bonus and it keeps me full for a long time. So Ono! Anything with the pesto and mozzarella is delicious too. I favor the Cozmic smoothie bowl. Love this place, it’s packed with nutrients, check it out!

It was the first time trying Açaí bowls and I’m really happy we ended up here at loved by the sun. Everyone got Açaí bowls and the granola, goji berries, peanut butter banana and other toppings were tasty. We definitely loved the service too!!

Fresh and delicious food, their salads is good too.
It would be nice if they had tables or a seating area that was a bit cozy.
While the salad was good and there was not too much sauce on it and it was actually salad (which is difficult to find in the US), the cucumber and lettuce leaves were way too big and not properly cut. The entire cucumber was basically one piece. Would be easier to eat if they cut them into smaller pieces (especially because they only have forkes).
The smoothie we had was fantastic (monkey something with banana, ginger, dates..); no milk or anything unnecessary, no sugar overload, just a really good fresh smoothie.

The açaí bowl was wonderful. We had the açaí/blueberry base & the tropical base. It was not too sweet and filling. It was a perfect way to start the day and so refreshing on a hot, humid day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a must try when in Hilo.

Thanks your response, I already return to the car when I first taste it, not worth for me to walk 20 minutes around trip back. I did read, but the menu on the wall is misleading (at least for me), I thought “Sunshine” ingredient is the line above the “Sunshine” name, because the pattern looks small words first then the large name.
