I got a roast beef poboy and cheese fries. The roast beef was just deli sliced with barely any juice on it…no gravy!!! It was bland and tasteless. It was the worst roast beef sandwich I’ve ever eaten. The fact that the sandwich is six inches total should be noted in the description. The cheese fries were even worse. They were burned, the grease was rancid and there wasn’t enough cheese to mask the nastiness of it. I gave the place one start because the best part was the brownies that are sold near the cash register. I went there at about 3:30 in the afternoon and there wasn’t a soul in the place…maybe I should have had a clue from that.

It might not look it but this restaurant has history. They were flooded out of Lakeview by Katrina and forced to move to Norco. Then Ida forced them to St, Rose. Despite all that, apparently nothing has stopped this family restaurant from cooking up some of the best food out there. We finally got to try this place at their new location in St. Rose. I ordered the “Shrimp Creole with fried fish” special, which came with a nice side salad. The shrimp creole had a very good flavor. The fish had a unique batter and was very good. My wife had the “Catfish Plate,” which came with a side salad and side of the best maccaroni and cheese you’ll ever have in St Rose!! And her fish was awesome, too. I hope they do well at this location. The place seems a little small for large groups. But don’t let that stop you. Go feed your face at Lo-vec-chio’s!! You’re welcome.

Came here for a quick bite on a lunch break. Not many options in this area, so I was excited to find a place that was close to work. The staff was friendly and attentive, but they were busy and seemed ti be understaffed. The food was just OK. For the price, I expected better. I found it to be rather expensive for its quality and taste. Maybe I’ll give it another try and revise the review later, but at this point, its not something ill crave.

I got a roast beef po-boy was delicious and my wife got red beans and rice with a breaded pork chop it was incredible. I’ve also had the Shrimp Po Boy before which is delicious so I highly recommend this place to all my followers. T.A.

Large salads with fresh ingredients and homemade dressing. They gladly accommodated my friend’s request for no salt. The tea was freshly brewed.The brownies were baked to perfection with big chunks of chocolate in them. It’s a nice, neighborhood vibe. Wonderful owners, friendly staff. I’d highly recommend!

I was in town for work and stumbled upon Lovecchio’s while searching for a lunch spot. I had a shrimp Caesar wrap that was beyond delicious! The shrimp was seasoned to perfection and the Caesar dressing was not overpowering. The tortilla was very thin but the wrap held together beautifully!
The location is right off River Rd and easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it! The restaurant is in a small house.
