Delicious!!! Our pizzas and kale Cesar salad were so good. Cool vibe too. Live music every night too! Mark was our server and was incredibly funny and nice. He made the whole night!!! We felt like family. He has an amazing story too so be sure to ask him!!! We will be going back this visit to eat here again; it was that good!

We LOVED Lovango during our St.John stay! We went twice and got pizza and the Caesar both times. The Caesar is so underrated!! Perfectly dressed and made with island-grown kale. The pizzas were all delicious. The dough was super flavorful. The drinks were great and the service was top notch. Mark was our server and he was phenomenal, so personable! Given that everything on the island is insanely expensive, we felt like Lovango was fairly priced and worth the money. The live music on the top patio was perfect each night too, not too loud.

The pizza is as good as any pizza back home (Boston area). The service is excellent. Our waitress was Julie who was absolutely fabulous…friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and quick service. And the atmosphere is tough to beat…with the upper deck the views of Cruz Bay are amazing and there’s always live music. In fact we enjoyed it so much at Lovango Rum Bar it’s the only restaurant we visited twice during our time on St John

Rude Staff!! Your website says you are open till 11pm!
Placed an order on their new online service for pickup between 9:22-9:37pm(according to email) when walking up to location it look closed. We went to the door and were shoved pizza out the door and were told at 9:30pm “we are closed” pizza was tiny, cold and tasted terrible.
The Island is expensive and you want decent food for the amount of money you’re at paying .. this isn’t it.
Go anywhere else but here.

The restaurant is cute and has a nice patio. Unfortunately everything else needs a lot of love. The service was very poor, no one checked on us for a while after sitting and then once we did get our food and drinks no one ever came back. Our drinks were undrinkable but no one would know because no one asked. The margarita pizza was edible but the meatball pizza was not for us. The dough lacks any kind of flavor and the ingredients do too. It was very bland overall. Kale Caesar was pretty good though. I would go back for the kale salad and to give the pizza another chance because it could’ve been an off night. Would recommend just going with wine or something though because the drinks were expensive for not being able to drink them. Live music was nice!

For reference, we got here right around 6. Had an absolutely excellent time here! Jesse, our server, was the best. The live music was amazing! The pizza and bruschetta were SO GOOD! If you’re wanting a drink, the espresso martini and lime in da coconut were very, very delicious. HIGHLY recommend! Beautiful view too 🙂

We had an exceptional experience at Lovango Rum Bar. Our party of six was seated swiftly on the outdoor patio at sunset, and our server, Julie, was attentive, knowledgeable, and authentically amiable. Food and beverage standouts included the garden salad (no joke), their white pizzas, and the Lim’in de Coconut. Highly recommended!

They served tasty drinks with interesting combinations. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Because they were busy, the manager (or perhaps the owner?) waited on our table to “help his wait staff out” to use his words. This is where the EPIC FAIL began. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with red sauce and regular mozzarella (you build your pizza for different styles and flavors). I asked the manager to make sure it’s well done because we like our pizza crispy. Well, the pizza came and it was undercooked and flaccid (see pics). Some of the mozzarella wasn’t even melted and most of it just slid off the base (again, see pics). Note that I said base and not crust. Why? FLOPPY DOUGH IS NOT CRUST!!! This tells me that they’re rushing the pizza through to get the pizza’s out faster. This is crazy considering they tout their pizza as “Neapolitan” style. I air quoted because a true Neapolitan pizza should have a slight to moderate char on the crust. Also irritating because I specifically requested that it be well done and crispy. So he either ignored me or his staff didn’t follow directions. Either way, the result was the same. Just so maddening to pay $30 for a pizza that comes out as UTTER SLOP. If the staff had not been so friendly and the drinks made well, this would have warranted a one star review.
