This is a very nice spot. If you are a connoisseur of dive bars like I am, you will love the decor and vibe. The customers and bartender were all friendly. Price was about average I guess. Regarding food, they said they only had a small bar pie, and that limited menu sort of gave me the impression that it was probably frozen and heated up, so I passed on the food and just enjoyed a beer and the atmosphere. Definitely a nice spot to grab a drink though. Especially if you are a local in the area of this bar, I definitely recommend it. If you are a fellow dive bar connoisseur, put this one on your list, and unless you happen to be hungry at the time, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. Go and enjoy!

I haven’t been there since the pandemic, but it was really a good place to unwind. Everyone is friendly, bands, and an outdoor area. I stopped in for a quick visit while on my motorcycle and people still remembered me, including the barmaid. It’s a nice old fashion beer and a shot working man’s bar, and ladies welcome.

Kind of a classic bar in a lot of ways. A lot of dive bars are owned by grumpy Old Men which is charming and its own way, but this place was owned by a cool blonde woman. It’s a good spot where a lot of local seem to hang out in a cool hipster crowd also finds it appealing. It’s right down the street from the cornerstone so it makes for a good spot to hang out for conversation before heading to the cornerstone for dancing.

Lou’s Tavern is truly the best neighborhood bar. It always has great entertainment, and the bartenders are on the ball. They have the best themed party nights on Halloween Christmas and their oh so amazing yearly Pig Roast. I can truly say that it is always a great time.

Just like the show.. Where everyone knows your name.. Although we aren’t big drinkers, it’s nice to just walk down the block and see some friendly faces. The owner Cindy gives back more to the community more than anyone is aware of. The beer is cold, and the bartenders are sweet and pretty. Great themed parties too!
