This isn’t a gastro pub. This is freezer to fryer to plated garbage. Those photos? Well over a year old. There are no steaks nor sliders. No trivia nights, like that would a draw, so kinda a weird claim. If you had “buy a restaurant” money, I’d say eat here once, then change your mind.

Kinda like a dive bar feel, however the best western it’s attached to has a really nice lobby which is weird for a best western. Menu was kinda small I think they share one with the steakhouse which is on the other side of the hotel. Got the fish tacos it had salmon that was kinda crispy on it i would recommend. My co worker and I both got salads, the wedge and the Caesar and both were loaded with bacon bits. they make their own sauce which was amazing. Co worker also got the club sand which it was huge and also very good. We go back and eat their.

This place is great, or it was… now its barely open and the great stuff on the menu was removed. The bartenders are exceptional and the kitchen makes wonderful food. I stayed here for many weeks while working away from home and was incredibly disappointed when they cut the open hours and removed anything resembling a dinner. I’d go elsewhere if you’re looking for a great dinner. If you’re after a cheeseburger or frozen pizza, go here.

This place is AMAZING! Very chill atmosphere and EXCELLENT food. My wife got the wedge salad for an appetizer and was pretty big (I shared with her). She got the lobster Mac and cheese picture #2 and was pretty tasty as I had a couple bites. Pictures 3 & 4 was the bacon cheeseburger that I got. This was a very juicy burger with thick crispy bacon and plenty of it!!

For dessert my wife got the cheesecake picture #5 and I got the brownie with ice cream on top picture #6. Dessert was great too!!

AMAZING sides. I only got sides because I wanted a snack then I was bummed to find out they’d be closed on the July 4 holiday… Otherwise I would have had 3 meals there tomorrow!

I had the tomato bisque, homemade mashed potatoes, and the interestingly SO yummy corn maque choux. I’d never had it before but I immediately ordered everything again so I could put it in the mini fridge for tomorrow.

On top of that, the staff are all wonderful and sweet. (We chatted for a bit while I waited for my takeout.)

Great food. Great value. So glad I decided to get snacks before they closed for the evening!!!!!!

The food was terrible very bland and tasteless…definitely not priced accordingly since I paid $21 for the prime rib French dip which was a complete waste of money, the only thing that was any good was the duck fat fries….next time I’ll just eat a bowl of ramen cause at least it has flavor and doesn’t cost me $21. I do not recommend this place if your looking for good food.

Walking into Lou’s you’ll find a worthy pub in a town not so rife with bars, and if you’re lucky Ayesha is behind the counter. It might be a hotel bar in the Best Western, but its not a waste of time.

My husband and I were staying at the Shiloh Inn that the bar is connected to on the weekend of 2/15. We wanted to try the steakhouse for dinner on a Friday night but it was very crowded. Instead we headed to the bar, where there were almost no customers, but we could get the same food. The pulled pork nachos were DIVINE. And the service was amazing! I wish I remembered her name, but the young woman bartending did an awesome job making special request cocktails for us and giving us all around amazing service. To top it all off, the drinks were a great deal! We paid a little less than $30 for 4 great quality cocktails.
We went back the following night (a Saturday), hoping for a similar experience. Instead we walked into a completely PACKED bar, and decided to sit at one of the only remaining tables, near the entrance. The bartender that night was an older woman, and she didn’t even come over to us for about 10 minutes, at which point we asked for a menu and she curtly said “oh sorry I didn’t see you here we don’t usually use this table” ?????? Okay then. My husband ordered a drink, and I told the server I was still thinking about what I wanted. She made his drink, came back with it, left before I could order anything, and then never came back. We ended up walking up to the bar to order two more drinks, one of which she offhandedly told us was not what we were even calling it. After another half an hour, I finally went up to ask for my bill. The server told me she had something important to do in the kitchen but she could take my money if I had to pay RIGHT then. I said I would like to leave and she told me my bill was $24, without even looking at my tab. If the prices stayed the same as the night before, it shouldn’t have been that high. I just gave her $30 and left it because I didn’t want to waste her precious time asking her to actually do her job by giving me a receipt or change. I really wish I had waited for her to do so, because I really feel we overpaid and a 25% tip was WAY too much for her. Even a month later I wish I had just not tipped her at all. As a bartender myself, I know that is super rude, but as horrible as the service was, I wouldn’t have felt bad at all.
All in all, I would go back for sure, just never on a night the older woman is working. If she had been there the first time we went, we never would have thought about going back again.

Lou’s bar is a good place to go for a cigar and a glass of bourbon. It is one of 3 in the metro area. The food is good and the service is friendly. It’s worth a visit.

The atmosphere was nice and cozy and the menu looked really appetizing. Do not be fooled by this please save your money this was the worst food I have ever eaten very blan no flavor at all I ordered the chicken and mushroom fettuccine Alfredo which does not come with bread or anything it was so bad if you look through my reviews you will see I have tons of places I’ve reviewed and not once have I ever given a bad review about food this is how horrible the food was I felt it my duty to warn anyone and everyone do not eat here you will be disappointed my Co worker whom I was eating with had the prime rib dip with au jus this au jus was disgusting we would have been better off dipping it in dish water I am sorry for being so blunt I wish I could put it nicely just take my word for it they need to do something different because this dinner was the worst I’ve ever had
