For it to use louisana in the name you would think flavor great seasoning great taste instead you get a lot of RAW BUTTER NO SEASONING..The brocolii and sausage was over cooked. O ordered the boiled snow crab legs added noodles… all i ate was the crab and 2 potatos… when you hear boil you think of seafood seasoning flavors.. Flavor i give 2 out of 10.. Quality of freshness i give 5 out of 10. Quantity i give 8 out of 10…

I found Louisiana Shack on a social media reel that was highlighting their boiled crawfish and I’m glad I decided to make the drive! It’s a bit further out for me but def worth it.
The restaurant is in a small shopping plaza in Lawrenceville and it was easy to get to right off the highway. Parking was easy and finding it was straightforward.
I ordered a beer, a large coke, fries, hushpuppies and a pound of crawfish. The total came to around $30, which was VERY surprising (in a good way because closer to the city, the drink alone could of easily cost more). So what you get for the money is great and really stands out.
The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. They had 90s R&B playing, which instantly (for me) was a vibe. It’s a corner building with windows along most of the seating areas, so there’s not a bad seat in the house.
The crawfish were well-seasoned and tasted great. The fries were crunchy and flavorful and went well with this really delicious fry sauce they serve with them.
Its was worth the trip, I’ll definitely be back.

While it was my first visit I was disappointed. The food came out super greasy. My lunch partner started their food had zero flavor. I will agree. The walls were dirty as well. With Louisiana in the name I was expecting more flavor. It’s not my thing. But maybe you’ll enjoy it.

I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, especially since it was my second visit. The teens working the registers were incredibly kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food still lacked flavor. I found the sausage particularly off-putting due to its strange aftertaste. Overall, several aspects of the meal were disappointing. To top it off, I woke up the next morning with an upset stomach. I’d also suggest the restaurant consider installing diaper changing tables to help families dine more comfortably.

I’m from New Orleans so I’m a harsh judge of out-of-state Creole cooking restaurants but Louisiana Shack impressed me very much. I had the shrimp po-boy with fries, hushpuppies, and remoulade sauce and I give it a 9 out of 10. Fresh bread, ample shrimps, and juicy tomatoes. Not a ten because didn’t suggest the option of tartar sauce or cocktail sauce and didn’t see Tabasco on the table. I will still return very soon to try the seafood boils. Staff was friendly and even knew what a ‘dressed’ sandwich was. Keep up the good work!

My food was OK. It was a little. I paid $9.99 I just passed gas for this very minimum food flavor was OK. Fish was good though and then take a picture of the fish next time. I will get this vegetable broil without the noodles. Maybe I can get it filled up to the top

So awesome! We got the creamy garlic shrimp and the hot butter garlic Crawfish! The ladies at the restaurant were very sweet and knowledgeable! We accidentally stumbled on it basically driving through. Will definitely return the next time in the area! Very good!

The people there are sweet, but the food made us sick. We couldn’t even finish it. I don’t think they use butter, but maybe some kind of shortening. It’s extremely oily and we had to run to the gas station to wash it down. I’m sad because when they first opened it was actually good.. now it’s awful. The amount of protein you get for the cost doesn’t match either.
