My honey and I decided to go to this restaurant for dinner and it was a big disappointment. First, it took a long while to get our entrees, and we had hoped the food would be worth the wait and unfortunately it was not. I even ordered a slice of cheesecake for $11 to go and the slice was so small that three spoonfuls and I was done. The only good experience were the waiters and host. They were very professional and polite.
Unfortunately, we will not return to this restaurant.

We celebrated my grandmothers 80th birthday there and everything was fantastic. Our waiter was Leo and he was so kind and attentive to all of us. The food, atmosphere and service was a 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy!!!

Excellent food, the best grilled chicken caesars sala that I ever eat. Excellent service always checking on you and really nice everyone. US$100 for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids) with desserts. 100% recommended

Due to the prices (pretty high), I expected the food would be exceptional, but it was on par with any local Italian restaurant.
I was disappointed to see how the restaurant nickel and dimes customers for everything:
$5 added for anyone ordering an appetizer or soup as a main course; $10 added to the already high prices if you share an entree; $4 per person charge to cut a cake that you bring to the restaurant for an occasion. Finally, the 3.99% credit card service charge on the whole amount of the check when half + tip is paid in cash.
The service was excellent, but sadly the rest of the experience was not enough for us to return.
*For the lack of professionalism and grammar in the restaurant owner’s response. Don’t assume that the customer doesn’t know what’s involved in running a restaurant.

I was here for my cousin’s graduation party (Fordham Prep Class of ‘24) back in June of 2024 with lots of other guests. Everything here was amazing, from the food that we ate (I had orechiette with broccoli rabe, penne vodka, the charcuterie platter, and veal Francese) all the way to the service! I loved it here- it was an unforgettable graduation party that will leave a meaningful mark! Will come back again!

A solid go-to for family dinner! I really like this place because of how much you get for your money here. Each entree comes with fresh, warm bread and a delicious salad (their dressing is awesome!).
For food, the portions are generous – I often have leftovers for lunch the next day – not totally over the top. My most recent order was shrimp francese and I loved it.

We used to come here a lot pre-covid. So now after 5 years we came back. The food was just as good as prior years. Both my wife and I had the fillet of sole, it was a generous portion, good tasting steamed vegetables and the potato croquet was quite tasty. Salad portion was very adequate and the bread was warm. Will return.

A pretty fancy italian restaurant. The food is on the pricey side however the food itself doesnt meet the price. The pasta was any ordinary pasta, and they provided just regular sausage, something that could be made at home. I would come here for a more calm, ambient atmosphere, as this place provides nice lighting and music.

L&J has been one of my favorite pizza and pasta spots for a long time. I’m not sure if there’s a new chef or what but my buffalo chicken pizza for the second time just came awfully made. As if the chef just through all the ingredients on and didn’t care. Definitely not the same quality if you bought a premade slice. You can’t even properly pick up the slice cause it’s soaked in buffalo sauce. I understand one bad pie but two times is unacceptable. Especially seeing my daughter loves their pizza. I hope this reaches management so it can be addressed.
