We absolutely loved eating here! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are in a different country. We both had the red curry with coconut rice (make sure you get it MILD if you are not used to spicy food!! It can get too spicy otherwise! But still super delicious!!), shared a soup, and my toddler had a chicken skewer. She really liked the rice too. The waiting staff and chef were so incredibly kind and attentive, and we even got some halloween snacks and dessert. Would highly recommend!

Lotus Lao and Thai Cuisine is priced very well and offers a comforting, homemade style of food. The portions are generous, with plenty of meat in the soup. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

We were looking to try different local ,small restaurants. Today we popped in to this little gem, just off main street in a house setting. The food was tasty, great prices and wonderful service. Our waitress was very helpful with any questions, and our cook was super sweet . I highly recommend trying this little local Gem . We enjoyed it and will be back ” support local ”

The food hasn’t felt consistent, I have ordered pad Thai multiple times, along with the beef pho and it’s tasted different each time. I do enjoy the flavours of my most recent experience with ordering the pad Thai, this time I could taste the sweetness in it. Good flavour profile and I enjoy the tofu in it too! Feels a bit expensive for the portion size of that, where as every other thing on the menu has felt like you get more than enough for what you pay for. Overall the prices though is something you can’t beat. Having a pad Thai, 2 small soups came to $36 dollars.
They do offer 5% off on take out orders
ONLY if you pay cash. And they offer 10% for seniors. Those are nice incentives I believe, but paying for cash while dining it does NOT get you 5% off. From my experience any time of the day you go, you’ll be guaranteed a spot to sit. The chef is so friendly and always happy to see you, she is a sweetheart.

The chef is so sweet. she caters to gluten free (allergy) and the chicken pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had. I crave it weekly! I haven’t tried anything else but it all looks amazing

We’ve been here twice now and both times we were impressed! The atmosphere is cute enough but we don’t come here for that; its the food that keeps bringing us back! Service is also great.
We had the following:
– Pho: highly recommend, beef was tender and no gristle.
– Curry Panang: highly recommend, very tasty dish with fresh veggies and rice served in a cute dish. Coconut rice was a $2 up charge
– Curry Green: highly recommend although beware as this dish was spicy even though we asked for it to be mild…but so tasty!
– Vermicelli: highly recommend, if u like Vermicelli then get this dish. You won’t regret
– Drunken Noodles: this dish was tasty however it was quite oily. We ate it all up of course but I wouldn’t order it again.
– Salad Rolls: highly recommend, huge rolls

We just had dinner here and it was absolutely fantastic! They just opened last October and would be swamped if more people knew about it. Please go and support this little restaurant- very authentic dishes and many sauces etc make homemade. And the service was super friendly!

Wow! What a find! This should be an Edmonton and Area – you must eat here!
We’ve gone twice to Stony Plain for eat in and both times had the Tom Yum (great for the freezing days). She made fresh broth for gluten free (advised to call in advance so she can accommodate). If you like really spicy – the Thai Heat is where its at. The spring rooms are giant (about 6″ long and house made. Green onion cakes also fantastic.
We’ve also picked up for take-out her Pad Thai, and so far it didn’t disappoint. In my opinion, the best Pad Thai in the Edmonton Metro. Over all 10/10! Thanks Stephanie – see you soon! 🙂

What a cute dainty little restaurant! Definitely worth a try. The flavours are very authentic and perfectly homemade. The spring rolls are fantastic with 3 different meat options. The satay skewers were great as well. I had the red Thai curry, which is my absolute favorite, and they knocked it outta the park. I will absolutely be back!
