The vibe at Lak is really cool. The restaurant has two sections, the dining area and the bar area as told. The atmosphere is nice. We sat indoors with an overview of the lake. The food is great overall but quite limited in my opinion. Other than that, the ambiance is lovely and the staff are patiently nice.

Lāk Restaurant (pronounced Lake) was quite nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. Some of the food was a little hit and miss, but the hits were superb. The baked brie was phenomenal, with a strawberry rhubarb compote that was just fantastic on it. The lobster bisque was also excellent, certainly the best I’ve ever had. And the wild boar tagliatelle pasta had an amazing sauce and flavors. Unfortunately the vegetable risotto was greatly lacking seasoning and was rather bland, and the grilled baguette and dipping sauce was rather lackluster. We were overall satisfied and will definitely come back.

Seating (reservations) and the service was great. The ambiance is nice (by the lake). Was surprised that it was rather empty for a Friday night (7pm). Where our disconnect came in was the pricing. Though the attempt is to have a 4/5 star restaurant, the food was just ok/good. Not bad whatsoever, but when you upcharge your menu, you want the food to taste like “I cant wait to come back”, and that just didnt happen. We may go back for the location and ambiance, but perhaps we’ll try something different on the menu.

Went to hotel to check out new menu and to congratulate daughter on her new job. I have to say the food was fantastic down to the salad . Service was great and the atmosphere was on point. The seafood pasta was to die for the scallops melted in my mouth. I love the option to get a marinara sauce as well as traditional white sauce . I was so impressed that I had to get one to go to take home to husband .

Awesome sauce! This place was great, from the ambiance to the cuisine. The short ribs sliders are a must! I’m going back just for them. It also added to the experience having the chief come and speak with the guest, and share the love, preparation that goes into the food. Overall it was a great date night, we’ll definitely be back again.

My husband and I came for Valentine’s Dinner. We were served the prix fixe menu and were not disappointed. Everything was delicious! I had the crab meat martini, wedge salad, 10 oz beef with mashed potatoes, and warm apple crisp. We plan to come again to see the views of the lake. We also had excellent service.
