Absolutely AMAZING! And the food was great. The only bad thing was that we could not bring in the French Fries for our autistic grandson. That is the only thing he eats and we asked to put them on a plate of there’s but the owner said no. Horrible. Just Horrible. He had to eat outside.

Food was good but it was better back in the day! Also I wouldn’t recommend the pot stickers at all. Their chicken with mixed vegetables was the best thing that we ate on this visit but probably will stick with beef and broccoli next time we come back here

Compared to the other 2 Lotus restaurants in town this one is just ok. I would rather drive a little further but get better tasting food. Now my hubby and kids did enjoy their food I was just meh with it.

Very friendly ladies at the order booth. Food was fresh and fast. The egg drop soup was delicious.
I ordered the orange chicken. I wasn’t too impressed with the preparation. I was expecting the chicken to be coated with the orange sauce except I received the battered chicken on one side and the sweet and sour sauce on the other side as “orange chicken sauce”. * I didn’t find this out until I was at the hotel room.
Overall, all was good.

I don’t know how Chinese restaurants stay in business here. Every one of them I’ve tried have been pretty bad. Egg roll soggy, not crispy at all. Stringy hard to chew beef, dry fried rice, orange chicken was huge chunks of all dark meat chicken with weird texture. The sauce wad good though. Lomein with no cabbage or onions and for some reason has a taste like a freezer… I could write the same review for every restaurant in Brownsville. The Mall food court has the best Chinese in this town hands down.

My girlfriend and I are new in town and we have been here twice and we have not been disappointed. The waitresses have been friendly and attentive the prices are reasonable and the portions are good. We have ordered a different dish each time we go and each time they have been Delicious definitely coming back.

I really don’t understand how people dislike this place. The spring rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried rice is extremely delicious. And they actually put sauce on the string bean chicken! Lotus Inn makes Panda Express look like a restaurant run by kids. Easily one of the best Chinese spots in Brownsville.

Well, needless to say, guys, it isn’t the same owner anymore. Lots of us were looking forward to the original fresh taste in our fav. Dishes as mine is the chicken almond total different ball game. It used to be as it reads chicken almonds, now they add all these veggies that don’t belong in the dish. As the other two dishes they were ok, not the best but ok. The restaurant is still the same. We thought it was remodeled, but no. They were some changes, and not everything did away with fish tanks. But as far as food goes. Well, you are not to get the same taste as before. I got used to the cook Manuel he knew his stuff. And made the dishes taste different. I’m just not a fan of this one. The tastes are similar to the one on Alton gloor or boca Chica, so for me, either get the recipe from the prior cook/cooks or it ain’t cutting it. Sorry guys, it really was a nah! From me. Give it a try. Your taste buds be the judge. As far as staff waiting Well they need more help because one or two waitresses aren’t cutting it. Either they are waiting on too many tables and forgetting items for the clients. Their job ain’t easy. I’m just saying they need more help during rush hours. Oh, and the chips on the table were horrible, very stale, that the grease gets on your palette or roof of mouth. Fix that make them fresh, yall.

Had a great meal the food is really good, portions are filling and the presentation was great. This is a lower resteraunt and they brought the food out in a lod trolley that was stained and looked really dirty. The tables have a plastic thin cover on them I guess too make it easier to clean up but made it feel like I was about to get shrimp boil poured on the table. If the food wasn’t real good I would’ve given fewer stars.
