A wonderful cafe in the very elegant lobby of the Vinoy Hotel and resort. The hotel has been recently updated and will celebrate their 100th year in 2025.
Lottie has coffee, pastries and cakes, salads, sandwiches and more. They also have wines, beers and soft drinks.
Their pastries and cake choices are extensive. It was not an easy choice, but I had a slice of the delicious Vinoy signature cake and an Italian Macchiato. Both were excellent.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is a stunning Gilhooly chandelier in the ballroom next to Lottie.
Prices are moderately expensive but well worth it for the excellent deserts and the extensive coffee list featuring La Colombe coffee.

Love this little cafe in the Vinoy lobby. I enjoy their handcrafted teas and coffees. The baker makes exquisite pastries which are always fresh. My favorite is the scone with a pat of butter and a chai latte. You can lounge on the patio or in one of the seating areas in the lobby or cafe. There is also a small garden outside. They have egg sandwiches and some more substantial food items as well.

DELISH! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was seriously some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. The women running the shop were kind, helpful, and attentive! I am local so I plan on coming back again for an afternoon treat as I also grabbed one of their chocolate chip muffins and devoured it. A must for guests and visitors alike.

I was very surprised to receive such a poor service. 3 young women behind the counter were grumpy, slow, had attitudes, service took forever, they never smiled, one barely spoke english and it was hard to understand. I felt very unwelcomed. I received my coffee in a beautiful ceramic cup and my pastry wrapped in the paper bag 🙂

This adorable bake shop deserves not 5, but 6 stars!! Lottie is a stunning French patisserie with A+ service, delicious and eye-catching treats (fruit-topped pastries, smoked salmon with dill cream cheese, chocolate muffins) – and cozy, outdoor rocking chairs to enjoy aforementioned goodies. We ate here every day of our recent vacation to the Vinoy, and look forward to returning soon!
