Our first time at Lot88 and we’ll definitely be back! Jen was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, guiding us through the menu and recommending the lava stone experience — a great choice. Being able to cook our steak on the stone to our own liking was both unique and fun.
There’s a good selection of appetizers, so it was hard to narrow it down. We chose the oysters and mussels in white wine sauce, both excellent. When we couldn’t decide between the white wine and green curry sauces, the kitchen was exceptionally accommodating and allowed us to try a sample of the green curry as well — which was also phenomenal.
The ambiance was spot on, including the fireplaces in each booth. The food, service and atmosphere made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

First time at Lot88 and it was amazing! We started off with calamari, delicious! Highly recommend the lava stone grilling, we had the steak & shrimp. Good wine list, hubby was happy with draft beer choices. Thank you to our server Kenny for recommending the lava grilling experience, we loved it! 5* service & food. We will be back!

Fantastic service from Madison! HIgh quality food, perfectly sized portions. We had the Oysters, Wagu beef cooked perfectly on their hot stone, scallop and onions hot bowl, salmon with freshly steamed veggies and ceasr salads. Paired with Malbec wine. Dessert included espresso with peanut butter cheesecake…we will definitely be back!

Instead of going to the usual chain steak houses we decided to try Lot 88 at Millcroft plaza in Burlington…..big mistake, I was so disappointed, I really wanted to like this place and I was craving a good steak!
Our server was great, so this is no reflection on her, but the place is a disaster.
Took roughly 20 minutes to get our appetizers, in which they prepared the wrong one for my son, our server ended up giving him two appetizers to make up for the mistake.
Not a problem, these things happen
Then our mains show up, three filet mignon’s, a salmon and a burger…. First bite of my steak and it burns my mouth with amount of salt on it, couldn’t taste the meat just salt, the broccoli on all the orders was stone cold, and the salmon over cooked, my kids finished their steaks, but didn’t enjoy them as they should have being filets, the best cut of meat! ( their meat was not over salted)
I returned mine, after giving it some thought, I didn’t want another steak, and cancelled my order….. our server genuinely felt bad, but at no time did the manager come over to talk to me!
Left it to our poor server to deal with, and she did what she could, steak was already re fired so she packed it to go, and gave us free desserts.
What did I eat? I just picked away at other plates, honestly nothing wowed me from what I sampled
Just to cap off a horrible night, my kids went to the washroom and found them disgustingly dirty, no paper towels, no hot water, bad smelling…. Not what I would expect
Just another big disappointment!
Our server passed on the comments to the manager, but no one came over, didn’t care to confront me and left it all to our server to take the heat
This is not a cheap place
Do better!

We had a delightful dinner there tonight! Decided to participate in the Taste of Burlington event and landed at Lott 88 Steakhouse. We couldn’t have been happier with the decor, the atmosphere (including the music, which was easy to listen to 60’s to 80’s – right up our alley!). Out server, Nilissa, was great – personable, helpful, and truly lovely. We will go back, even without the Taste of Burlington discount on the food.

We came from out of town to check out the Wayfair outlet and found this place close by ! Menu looked great so we had to see for ourselves. We ordered a caesar salad, the lobster and artichoke dip, the seafood fettuccine, and the stone seared salmon. Everything was exceptionally tasty. I had so much fun searing my salmon and it was quite an experience. I would rate this place five stars just for that experience. The maple soy glaze was to die for. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow and we had noticed other tables that had been seated after us were served their food before us. The minute we mention this to our server, Lauren, she checked in with the kitchen and brought our food right away. Great, would reccomend !

Me and my fiancé had the best experience at Lot 88. We ordered the bocconcini salad, calamari, and tenderloin steaks, and everything was cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the calamari was crispy and tender, and the steaks were some of the best we’ve ever had juicy, seasoned well, and cooked exactly how we asked.
On top of the amazing food, we had the best server. Nelissa was very friendly, funny, and attentive. She made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in at the right times, and really elevated our dining experience. Because of her, the whole night felt easy and enjoyable.
Lot 88 delivered both in food quality and service, and we left impressed and satisfied. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to family and friends.

Fantastic restaurant, great atmosphere, really great food, reasonably priced. I had the chicken parm, delicious and my wife had the salmon, our friends had the salmon and sirloin that come on a hot stone. So you can decide when they are cooked perfectly for you. Highly recommended

A few weeks ago I got to go to Lot88 and I loved it! It was my first time dining here and my server Maggie was so lovely. She provided some great suggestions for each and every one of us and even gave suggestions that fit my friend’s dietary restrictions. She was also a great conversationalist and didn’t make me feel like a transaction for the company. The food was exceptional and the lava stone experience was such a fun experience that I’ve never seen before. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be coming back when I return to North Bay!

I would strongly caution anyone considering dining at Lot 88 in Burlington. My husband and I traveled over an hour for a very special milestone celebration, expecting a fine dining steakhouse experience, but what we encountered was beyond disappointing! It was disorganized, unsanitary, and frankly shocking.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The restaurant was nearly empty aside from 2 large parties, yet it felt chaotic and understaffed. We quickly realized why: there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant, tasked with serving both a large table of 18 guests and our own large party of 21. There were no other servers in sight, only 2 overwhelmed hostesses at the front.
At one point, I was even told that if I wanted a drink, I would need to walk up to the bar myself. When I did, I waited over 20 minutes with no bartender present. When one finally arrived, the bar itself was in disarray with dirty dishes everywhere. To make matters worse, the bartender’s behavior was highly unprofessional. She also attempted to disguise a drink charge on my friend’s bill after claiming she was “buying” me a birthday shot, it wasn’t my birthday. Makes me question, if this normal behavior, at this establishment.
Service throughout the evening was appalling. Guests had plates removed mid-meal. My own salad sat untouched on a random table for over 20 minutes before being brought to me (I have photos and timestamps). When I refused it and requested a new one, the replacement came with the wrong cheese and no meat. Another guest’s meal was served on a visibly chipped plate, absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that markets itself as upscale dining, I also have pictures of this, how it left the kitchen, I’m shocked. Their plates are solid black and this plate was full large white chips, very noticeable.
The experience was so chaotic that even our friend’s milestone speech was interrupted by the server, who was frantically trying to keep up. While I commend her for handling the impossible situation with grace, no single server should ever be left alone to manage 2 massive parties on a Saturday night. That in itself says everything about how this establishment is run.
In short: this was not just a bad experience, it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The lack of staffing, poor management, unsanitary practices, and unprofessional behavior made what should have been a special night absolutely miserable.
