There’s a good selection of appetizers, so it was hard to narrow it down. We chose the oysters and mussels in white wine sauce, both excellent. When we couldn’t decide between the white wine and green curry sauces, the kitchen was exceptionally accommodating and allowed us to try a sample of the green curry as well — which was also phenomenal.
The ambiance was spot on, including the fireplaces in each booth. The food, service and atmosphere made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
Our server was great, so this is no reflection on her, but the place is a disaster.
Took roughly 20 minutes to get our appetizers, in which they prepared the wrong one for my son, our server ended up giving him two appetizers to make up for the mistake.
Not a problem, these things happen
Then our mains show up, three filet mignon’s, a salmon and a burger…. First bite of my steak and it burns my mouth with amount of salt on it, couldn’t taste the meat just salt, the broccoli on all the orders was stone cold, and the salmon over cooked, my kids finished their steaks, but didn’t enjoy them as they should have being filets, the best cut of meat! ( their meat was not over salted)
I returned mine, after giving it some thought, I didn’t want another steak, and cancelled my order….. our server genuinely felt bad, but at no time did the manager come over to talk to me!
Left it to our poor server to deal with, and she did what she could, steak was already re fired so she packed it to go, and gave us free desserts.
What did I eat? I just picked away at other plates, honestly nothing wowed me from what I sampled
Just to cap off a horrible night, my kids went to the washroom and found them disgustingly dirty, no paper towels, no hot water, bad smelling…. Not what I would expect
Just another big disappointment!
Our server passed on the comments to the manager, but no one came over, didn’t care to confront me and left it all to our server to take the heat
This is not a cheap place

Based on the reply from this business, I called as requested….. left my name and number….. no one has called me back, all I can assume is that the management at this location does not care
On top of the amazing food, we had the best server. Nelissa was very friendly, funny, and attentive. She made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in at the right times, and really elevated our dining experience. Because of her, the whole night felt easy and enjoyable.
Lot 88 delivered both in food quality and service, and we left impressed and satisfied. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to family and friends.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The restaurant was nearly empty aside from 2 large parties, yet it felt chaotic and understaffed. We quickly realized why: there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant, tasked with serving both a large table of 18 guests and our own large party of 21. There were no other servers in sight, only 2 overwhelmed hostesses at the front.
At one point, I was even told that if I wanted a drink, I would need to walk up to the bar myself. When I did, I waited over 20 minutes with no bartender present. When one finally arrived, the bar itself was in disarray with dirty dishes everywhere. To make matters worse, the bartender’s behavior was highly unprofessional. She also attempted to disguise a drink charge on my friend’s bill after claiming she was “buying” me a birthday shot, it wasn’t my birthday. Makes me question, if this normal behavior, at this establishment.
Service throughout the evening was appalling. Guests had plates removed mid-meal. My own salad sat untouched on a random table for over 20 minutes before being brought to me (I have photos and timestamps). When I refused it and requested a new one, the replacement came with the wrong cheese and no meat. Another guest’s meal was served on a visibly chipped plate, absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that markets itself as upscale dining, I also have pictures of this, how it left the kitchen, I’m shocked. Their plates are solid black and this plate was full large white chips, very noticeable.
The experience was so chaotic that even our friend’s milestone speech was interrupted by the server, who was frantically trying to keep up. While I commend her for handling the impossible situation with grace, no single server should ever be left alone to manage 2 massive parties on a Saturday night. That in itself says everything about how this establishment is run.
In short: this was not just a bad experience, it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The lack of staffing, poor management, unsanitary practices, and unprofessional behavior made what should have been a special night absolutely miserable.
